I had aced those sewing cards so well that by the time I was 6 , I got my first pattern to make Barbie doll clothes. My mom just sat and watched me go. lol
I enjoyed your ornament tutorial. For over 25 years I've had a Chris Mouse tree and decorate my home with Christmas mice. Knowing that I collect the Christmas mice, family and friends have gifted me many over the years. When I unpack them for the Christmas season is like seeing old friends again after a long separation. LOL! Your ornaments are so cute!
Every time you add something I think you are done. But then you do something to make it EVEN MORE AMAZING! I would have NEVER come up with the STITCHING IDEA! The Christmas mouse is a holiday MUST HAVE. You make my day every time you come on!❤️🎄🥰
Lori, I love how you explain in detail everything you do as you to make these beautiful ornaments. You are so talented and I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing.❤❤❤
I love these little guy and yes threading the yarn through the holes is very much like the sewing cards I too enjoyed as a boomer . I notice your info mentions Texas started in Texas now live in Georgia. I can't wait to try some of these. Thank YOu for Shairing Mary
I taught preschool for approx 30 years. They don't really have the sewing cards, or they are antique, but they now have them made from plastic and shoe laces to sew through the holes. They are good for teaching eye hand coordination and for finger dexterity. The mice ornaments are adorable.
I just love these mice ornaments. I have always collected and asked for them every year when I was working driving a school bus for our Christmas exchange and they always had a hard time finding them. I love this Idea and I am going to make some Thank you so much for sharing
Lori you know how to make it come out perfect. You have never done to much stuff to your ornaments to make them look overloaded. You are a true artist with a perfect eye. Thank you for sharing.
Your work is so wonderful and special, my adopted Ma loves Christmas mice and these are so sweet and adoreable. Thank you for sharing and for the great idea ❤❤❤❤
AAW, these lil x-mas mice ornaments are adorable.. im, going to have to try to make these for christmas card swaps coming up .. Thanks, for sharing your video..
Thank you so much! I'll be making more ornaments with clipart from AiClipArtCorner as well. The gal who owns this Etsy shop has such stinkin' adorable clipart sets!
I absolutely love watching your channel , and these ornaments are adorable. I plan to make some of these ( I love the mice ) but I already have some vintage Christmas images . Thank you for all the great videos .
Love your crafts and all the beautiful things you make. Also your voice is so soothing and calming. Love to hear it. Keep inspiring us.💝 GOD BLESS you.
Thank you for yet another delightful project…I have no printer, however I purchased 100 small Christmas Cards last year in the sales for this very purpose…so a brilliant result. With warmth from Kent. UK.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! Yes, Christmas card and tag images will work beautifully as well. You can also use the adhesive laminating sheets on top and it will give it a glass-like finish.
As I am in the UK frequently we cannot easily access the same crafting items, however, your video’s are so good at inspiring us that we find compatible supplies and adjust accordingly. The inspiration you give is The main thing and I thank you.
Just adorable! The clip art is really cute. They do still make lacing cards for kids. My granddaughters loved them. I love the borders so I'm going to have to get myself a cutter of some sort. Thanks for such an informative tutorial.
I have always been inspired by you since I did the calendar ornaments. I made them for my aunt and they got handed down to my cousin when she passed away.. thank you for sharing
I sure hope you are putting those adorable little mice on your tree this year. they deserve a space on it. This project is so cute and the stitching is really adorable. all your ornaments are gorgeous, with each one in its own class of its own. Wow! God bless my friend.
I love mice! Those images are so adorable, and I love all your darling creations!🥰I hope you are well, Lori. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!❤❤
Beautiful decoration. Just to let you know you don’t need glue for the tails of bows. Use a lighter and gently swipe (quickly) a cross the end of each tail and it sorts of melts the end so no threading .
WOW Absolutely fabulous I thought I’d sorted what I was going to make for little gifts for my art group BUT now I going to make these cute decorations , they would make super posh tags too I’m excited to getting started Thank you for your sharing ❤xxx
Another adorable Christmas ornament. I love hanging out with you and listening to your calm soothing voice. Oh my yes I remember the sewing cards. They were fun when we were little. I hope you have a great weekend! ❤️🤗
WOW! What a happy happy memory you helped me pull up!! I was very young sewing those paper cards ! Holy moly!💕💕 I’ll be shopping tomorrow for my materials. Thank you for this adorable tutorial. 🐭🎄
This is the cutest little mouse ornament I've ever seen! I love the extra detail you did to the ornament and always the pretty little charm you put on it. Thank you for sharing with us and take care
Goodness me these are cute! I must try the self stick laminate, although if making a lot of printouts two sheets back to back in the laminating pouch will work (one side laminated) but I usually don't make a lot so self stick is cost efficient for me. I laugh when you say "you could always leave it like this" I'm so glad you don't, you always manage to get the finishing touches just right and these will look super on the tree. Thank you ✨✨
Yes, I love the self-adhesive laminating sheets. It leaves a glass-like shine without having to use resin. I think it also brightens up the image itself. Thank you so much for leaving such a kind comment!
These ornaments are adorable!! Love the little mice!:) loved watching you put them together! Thank You for the great video! Happy crafting, and many Blessings!💕

And I sewed those sewing cards as a kid, too. My Mom taught me a lot. She was a fabulous seamstress, knitter, and stitcher.
