I'm running a Sega model 2 emulator and both guns are setup to ID 1 and 2. However they both control player 1. The coin and start button do work for player 2 however the player 2 gun controls the player 1 crosshair. Any tips?
very useful video, mate! do you use 2 aimtrak also with other emulators? with demulshooter? it would be nice if you did a video tutorial also for demul and other emulators using demulshooter! anyway thanks!
Wasn’t sure, but luckily I did buy your new model. Final got Aimtrak and having fun with it. Easy set up. I am having some difficulty with the House of the Dead Series and Carnevil game. I can see my sights but can’t fire. Other than games so far so good.
Thanks. Got the invite into the fb group. Didn’t get the email. Although I got my 2nd aimtrack light gun in and set it up. That actually fixed my issue with the house of the dead games. I guess only having one gun installed was causing the problem. I also was able to start T2 bcuz starting T2 for the 1st time has an in game gun calibration requirement. Only having 1 gun at first I couldn’t play it. After that starts up every time without issues.
Cool vid bro!!! It's sad that it's 2019 and they can't make a simple plug and play!!! A computer should recognize a gun vs a mouse vs a controller vs a keyboard!!! I mean there are cars that drive themselves & devices in your home to do everything from turn on the oven to turning on backyard lights to locking your front door!!! Come on you STEM nerds make stuff easy for jock gym teachers like me!!!

What setup do I need to do to use these on the PS2 with GunCon2 and 1 games? Is it the same setup? Plug to a PC to configure before plugging into my PS2 to play TimeCrises 2?
I found your video very helpfull for the Aimtrak and Alot of my light gun games work but there are a few like Blue Estate pc my croshair just goes nuts 100 mile an hr all over the place and cannot be calibrated same as virtua cop 1 and 2 that use DgVoodoo to upscale but othe title's that use dgvoodoo upscaled to 4K work fine just dont understnd it im just uploading t my channel with the issues running windows 11 rtx 3070 m2bb ram would apiciare any help thanks.

Hi, sounds like you don't have one of my systems, my help will be limited because there can be a million things wrong with your setup. Make sure your gun is configure in the Aimtrak utility, you might have a version of MAME that isn't compiled to accept joy inputs.
Hello, i have an aimtrak gun with a raspberry pi 3b with retropie, how can i configurate it?. I have installed advancedmame 1.4 retropie. Thank you so much
Find a good retropie image, and some of them have light guns all individually configed for the aimtrack already. You can do it yourself but you need to basically a plug a keyboard in and you can open config yourself that way but it's much easier to use a preset image.

any idea how to prevent the guns switching place/ switching position address with mouse track ball etc when system is rebooted? Tried assigning to higher device numbers but eventually they drop out again.

This isn't an Arcade1Up cabinet, we're Arcade-One not Arcade1Up. You can use one of our systems in an Arcade1Up cabinet though but such a small screen is not ideal for light gun games. You're better off using our system on your TV like any other gaming console.

I heard the recoil model is crap as it breaks easily.
Yep one of mine just broke I used a video on UA-cam to fix it. And I modded my other gun just so I wouldn’t run into the same problem.

It acts as a mouse so I don't see why not. :) I have not tried it though. You also need to control the rest as the mouse just aims and shoot.

How you set this gun up on a arcade1up???
This isn't an Arcade1Up cabinet, we're Arcade-One not Arcade1Up. You can use one of our systems in an Arcade1Up cabinet though but such a small screen is not ideal for light gun games. You're better off using our system on your TV like any other gaming console.

Arcade-One i have Device 1 and device 2, but in Mame only Gun1 for the 2 gun ....
For 2 Gun you put 2 sensor or only 1 ?
