Man just hearing Michael's voice again, on the grid talking about F1. So freaking sad man I can't believe it what's happened to him. Wish he could somehow recover and be on the grid again watching his son.
Perhaps it is simply because he felt bad for bluntly interupting a phone call, which he did, unknowingly but it was rude, so Martin would have felt bad for doing that. Michael still willing to speak to him after that probably really surprised Martin, still reeling from his faux pas. It 'is' Schumacher, but they were team mates back in the day, so that's nothing.
@@klauskinski2218 maybe it had something to do with almost having his leg amputated and no longer being able to brake with his left foot, just a thought.

We all want Michael to recover I'm sure but I think we have to accept that he's always going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life. That's the only reason I can think why we have not seen him in public for this long. But I think you have to commend his wife and son for always sticking with him and holding out for hope one day that he might recover somehow. That will be one hell of a miracle for sure.
So, by your own admission, you can only assume that because you haven't seen him yourself in a few years, he's therefore a "vegetable." And then there's the genius replying that death would be better, but he follows it with "god bless him" like a completely illogical fool. What, did your god do the damage to him on a day that Michael had an impure thought or something? Or maybe it's to test his faith. Or any other number of idiocies that anyone mentioning a deity's involvement would come up with as a laughably arrogant fool.
Brundle and Schumi had an awfully tense relationship. Started in 1992, when Brundle disliked some of the moves Michael made on track, continued when Michael was vilified in 96 and 97, with Brundle being one of his most outspoken critics. I suspect a part of it is genuine by Martin, but there is jealousy there as well. Can we really say Michael was cheaper by Senna? Probably. But not by much, and it's certainly not reflected in most debates about who is the best.
'I'm not driving, your not driving so it should be clean' 'Yeah I'm not going to run into you' What if Brundle originally taught Schumacher to be physically aggressive to his opponents on the race track. Hungary '92, Schumacher put both himself and Benetton teammate Martin Brundle in a jeopardizing situation when he performed a clumsy overtake on his team's lead driver. Brundle subsequently smashed into the back of Schumacher's car in revenge a few laps later. Schumacher continued for a few laps before his rear wing detached and his car was pitched out of control and off the circuit. Is Brundle one of Schumacher's earlier incident in Formula One? We had a Senna vs Brundle documentary, what about a Schumacher vs Brundle movie as well. He was the early influence and challenge for two of the sport's best world champions.
