Don't make it sound more accurate than it is, a lot of classes have inflated CP etc. DB as an example with 2ndary weapon and 2 off stats. With that said, it's really hard to make any of these lists and this is a good way of trying to make it somewhat comparable but some classes are not getting justice with burst / CP.

DPM tier list too? Some of the bosses don't only last around 30 seconds right? I'd be interested to see a DPM one along with this burst tier list since quite a few people I know are interested in boss soloing.

Need someone to translate this and post to Inven; they care way too much about irrelevant metrics such as Dojo performance and solo bossing clear times. Obviously DPM isn't nonsense, but party play burst damage to clear end game bosses should be weighted much higher when determining how strong a class is, and should be the number one metric for class balancing (given they won't remove Benediction/Oz rings)
@@kazokadas honestly my take is that the combat power is different depending on the player. Like if someone with 9L atk does a BA their CP is going to be lower than someone with say 7atk 2L boss. And their BA’s should be similar. As well as some other classes having slightly inflated CP through the sf from shields etc. But I’d say that hero and DW dmg is pretty similar. Honestly the fact that hero does so much dmg on burst despite being a 2m class is insane. They really should have split the tier list into 3. An overall all class list, 2m list, and a 3m list.

BA/CP is trash metric to measure and differentiate between class burst or dmg in total, some classes has inflated CP, and no class matches to the other CP. this is utterly useless misleading information. If someone really want to compare dmg or burst between classes the best way would be 95%-99% similar gear and then use a BA, otherwise it’s apples to oranges
How would you measure 95-99% 'similar gear'. That's literally the reason they use a CP and the only thing that currently goes further are converted stats which no one wants to bother doing. Your comment just proves how dumb this community is

Even at midgame progression, dealing 30% less dmg because of class diff will significantly impact your progression and ability to find parties for midgame bosses such as nKalos. Yea of course, this list means nothing for early game ppl still doing 6man cTene clears because of the power creep from 6th job, but once you pass that your ability to progress is 100% in large part due to class choice, at similar levels of hexa and gear progression. Sure you can gain 30% more CP to make up that gap, but that also involves significant time, money, and RNG, when otherwise you’d just be ready earlier if you played a stronger class.

Because most bosses even before grandis favor burst and against grandis bosses shadower is ass in solo and party. It also requires mad hands to play optimally and stick to the boss without dying, most shadowers are very mediocre at that
