Got an old tensioner perhaps I can just cut the shorter arm and use the bottom part longer arm only as this purpose is although to help move gears and also keep chain in place when folding.

Nice bike, it's not a Brompton for sure, it's BETTER than a Brompton in terms of both quality and price.
