Hi, your videos are very good. I have seen all the flight you have done with the Premier 1A, I currently flight the same airplane. Hence, I was wondering if you could help me with the following, I am having trouble to program the Saitek control panel to activate the Lift Dump. By any chance do you know how to program it? Could I be able to do it by hitting a specific key from the keyboard? Thank you for your time!
Sadly, TOD is not implemented, also VPATH is not. At least, I could not find/see them. So VNAV is a matter of luck and approximation or...doing computations in mind/on paper. Sometimes FMS disappears from PFD and you start to hear bank angle and loose NAV and I do not know why, the manuals have only a few information. Also I could not activate the transponder on Vatsim from the plane, only directly from vPilot. Also the MFD checklist as in the real plane would have been nice (as I saw it is implemented on the Phenom).

But regarding the fms I was all the times very disappointed. they said "fully functional", but then for example SID and STAR are working very badly. so I'm actual very careful, when Carenado says, "fully functional FMS"
FMS exists and you can flight plan, go direct etc but it's buggy and I can't get the approaches to work at all. FLC function is buggy as well. If you want it to navigate laterally and you'll hand fly the approach, it's OK.

I have always had a top of the line gaming rig and every time my computer sees MFDs in the cockpit it starts coughing. I prefer steam gauges but the last few times I tried a more modern Biz jet its fps slaughter especially with Orbyx/REX/ActiveSky. Guess I will stick with Lears,shag carpet and 8 track players and enjoy high end graphics outside.
No way, after XP11 I'm never going back. It is a downgrade.

I don't have money to spend on two sims. I've spent above 500 already on XP. With P3D is even worst, there is an Active sky, ORBX vectors, LC, Europe, USA, Airports, migration tool add-ons, boost addons... and then at the end come planes that are in P3D like $150 each. What's wrong for you its not wrong and foolish for me if you agree, so chose your words better, please.
As usual with Carenado it looks good, sounds good but when it comes to the rest there is just so much lacking. In this case so many inaccuracies, faults and shortcomings with the fms and auto flight system it's just not funny. Carenado's s motto should be 'near enough is good enough'. It's not good enough when you charge this much. I just wish someone like PMDG would start doing these sophisticated and great executive jets so that there could be genuine enjoyment in it instead of frustration and irritation.
My rig is an i7 970 @3.4 GHz with nVidia GeForce 1060, no matter what settings I use with the Carenado 390 Premier 1a, my frame rate is 1 - 2. This plane is unusable.
Why does Carenado keep developing planes that suck the life out of FPS???? I can't afford to upgrade my computer just to fly this. I should of waited to purchase after hearing more reviews. Lite version is just as bad. Very disappointed as I awaited this purchase!!
smjj08 not for me, When I fly with them I get 20-30 fps at add-on airports. I have a Nvidia 750ti. That just shows they optimized for performance. Unless you got one of the, intel graphics cards you should be fine
smjj08, You need a fast CPU, an Intel i5 2500K or i5 3570K overclocked to 4.2 GHz works well. Because the game was optimized for Nvidia, you also need an acceptable performing Nvidia video card. However, it performed well on my old AMD R9 290 before I upgraded to an MSI GTX 980 Ti Lightning.

Bought it. Nothing works. Never ever Carenado again! Selling is more important to this guys than get the thing they sell to work.
