Heres what he shared about his journey : My father started Punialava'a with his parents in 60s but he wrote his first original song with original lyrics in 1968.He then carried on with the village boys in the 70s who would help with the instruments and vocals up until 1980 He met my mother, by then most of the village boys left of overseas like NZ, Aus, and USA. So together my parents carried on Punialava'a until we came along. So the present Punialava'a consists of Lale and Vini and their children Nanai, Vania, Punialava'a and Melody
