I feel like I should point out that a ladder in a climbing gym is a real serious issue that was treated with an appropriate amount of concern. Typically ladders used by routesetters for example are covered in foam, so as to not damage the mats and walls, and the ladder area is cordoned off. Most of the pranks on this channel are harmless but this one presented serious risk.
Honestly I think the guy who recognized him should have been real subtle about it. Like "Hey man I get what you're doing but this is unsafe, you need cones at the base of the ladder. Green cones, or orange cones or remote control cones would do but you have none of that which is why this is unsafe." Let him know you know while your co-workers get all hurt feelings as you chop it up with Ross.

Of course you would. Most climbers are dorks that take themselves way too seriously. There was no real safety risk. Its a lightweight aluminum ladder with ros on a rope and a spotter holding it at the bottom. Either one would have easily held it if it started falling.

I feel like I should point out that a ladder in a climbing gym is a real serious issue that was treated with an appropriate amount of concern. Typically ladders used by routesetters for example are covered in foam, so as to not damage the mats and walls, and the ladder area is cordoned off.
Most of the pranks on this channel are harmless but this one presented serious risk.

9:08 last I checked whenever I need to get to a high area I use a ladder. I think this was a genius idea and I have no idea why no one has done this before.
I didn't think there could be more of a stick in the mud than the rock climbing lady, who had witnessed hundreds of ladder deaths, but the ice skating lady and the random vigilante were a great bit of entertainment to top it all off!! Great video as always!

Of course you would. Most climbers are dorks that take themselves way too seriously. There was no real safety risk. Its a lightweight aluminum ladder with ros on a rope and a spotter holding it at the bottom. Either one would have easily held it if it started falling.
