- Decided to film a timelapse and show you all how to restore old, used, and worn out longboards! I restored my personal sector 9 longboard that i just never use and also a second board that i bought for my friends birthday! This process took about a full week to film and finish everything. I think they turned out pretty great! Lemme know what yall think! i have another board that im considering restoring/customizing as well so lemme know if yall want me to make a video about that! Excellent job! Want to get a longboard myself, but wanna buy secondhand simply because of how cheap used boards are.
Andrew F. id recommend getting one on offer up ir craigslist: i always find close to brand new boards for cheap because people will ride them once, fall, then sell em. easy come ups

What kind of stripper did you use? It kinda got blurred out. Was it specifically for wood? To remove the painted graphic?
I want to sand the top of my board before applying griptape. Are you using a palm held sanding block?
After sanding what kind of lacquer or wood finish should I put before applying griptape?

Great job! Do i necessarily need to take off the first layer of colour or can i just apply my primer on it?
The paint sticks way better if you sand it first so I recommend you do
So, I have a question. I found a longboard in okay condition somewhere here somebody must've thrown it out because it was a little damaged. I know I wouldn't. It was very worn out from lots of riding, but the main factor is that near the back it's starting to split and crack. I have looked up longboard re- lamination and found nothing. What can I do?
When the wood is splitting/cracking itd be smarter to get a new deck. Hopefully the trucks wheels and bearings are still usable
