You should have put Dragon Block C, the predecessor of the shown mod. Despite it being for 1.17.10 it has a lot more content, more polish and good VFX.

Tensura mod is also a good mod to play in-- there are playable races such as vampire, orc, goblins, lizardman, demon and even the famous slime race.

dragon block super may be a dead mod but still cool but its no dragon block c i still enjoyed being unkillable by normal hostile mobs

Best ones are upcoming dragon block, the original Naruto one for 1.7.10, the tensura mod, the jjk mod, and either bleach or demon slayer for the last one. Next up are one piece, black clover and jojos. After that the rest are trash mha, Tokyo ghoul, sao, one punch man, seven deadly sins. The avatar and Pokémon ones are good to but totally different. Tell me if I missed any. MHA is decent if you change the mob spawn.

There are many reasons for a mod not to work, such as wrong version, not installed support mod,... I install and use it normally, the problem lies with your device.
I think these are some of the mistakes that every new modder makes, I can suggest you on choosing the right forge version, installing more mods in the relationship section, or using Fabric if the mod requires it.

I had to quit right after DBZ started. That AI voiceover is dull and annoying as all hell not to mention it can't pronounce to save it's life. Also these mods look lame as hell too. Could possibly been the r@&# gorilla staring me in the eyes the entire time as well. Made me very uncomfortable.
