I wouldn't pigeonhole this band as one of the best female bands. They are absolutely one of the best bands of their genre, hands down.

Bad timing fucked them up, releasing a full Grunge album right after Cobain passed, not relying on a corporate label to distribute their 1999 Slap-Happy album by going independent out of the blue, nowdays they get a lot of love if it feels better.
