This is what Demetra Plakas said in an interview: "In 95 when we were still touring for the "Hungry for Stink" record, CD, whatever you want to call it, we were in Europe and we were in Italy. And there were these three very young Italian girls who were die-hard, way over the top L7 fans. They were waiting and the club, I don’t know how many hours before we got there. The whole town knew of them. The club guys were saying "gotta watch out for those three girls. They’re really sweet but really over the top." They had told Donita that they played guitars and they were starting this little band and they’d try to play all our songs and so Donita called them out at the very end of our set and she was trying to remember their names, Lorenza, Giada, Alessandra. And she started repeating it like a mantra. And she started playing this riff on guitar and I started following her on the drums and so this song kind of got written right then and there. They eventually got up on stage and attempted to play "Shitlist". They really were very cute."

To Hambubger 2015 - I like all venues of music, jazz, classical, metal, grunge, and I haven't "outgrown" anything, L7 is to grunge what Rush is to rock, what Metallica is to metal, what Billie Holliday is to classic jazz, what Benny Goodman is to swing, etc. Am I comparing L7 to these performers, no, they are in their own category - grunge, and they dominate it! So, go listen to your "American Idol" GARBAGE and your "The Voice" GARBAGE, and let us who truly appreciate good music enjoy themselves. Reply?
To Lolo Rocker, no disrespect towards "tanaka", but I really enjoyed L7 with Gail Greenwood as their bassist, much more personality on stage, and have you seen her when she was with "Belly"?
