True, also the one that resulted in a later touchdown was just a bad call. He made slight contact which is legal if it doesn't impede and it didn't impede him. Another example it looked almost as if the WR was more trying to create contact than go for the ball. Another example that was correctly called a PI because he got there early, but it happened on the other end to Oregon and it wasn't called.
@ there was contact on TFerg on his touchdown, too. I was standing on that side of the stands too. Was going to be pissed if they didn’t give it to him.
Hope you enjoy your time in Madison Erik! The point about Wisconsin’s safeties being bigger enforcer types is 100% true. Oregon should look to put those guys in 1v1 matchups where Oregon’s speed will burn them. Wisco’s pass D looks good on paper with stats, but it’s because teams find so much success running the ball and don’t need to pass imo. Also not sure where you see that Locke has a high completion percentage when it’s at 56% this year and 50% last year in 4 full games.
Using boxing gloves is a pretty common practice technique and I wouldn't imagine they would use it if it hasn't been shown to be effective to some degree in the past.
On Sunday, I'd love to be talking about how our D-line lived in Wisconsin's backfield all game long and left their QB shaken up and uncomfortable every snap. I think this crew is capable of doing that to anyone's O-line and it would be a great thing to show going into the post season.
That seems like a writer groping for a hot take. He hasn’t shown any interest in going anywhere at least until his youngest is raised. He “hasn’t won anything yet” and all the examples had won a lot (Sabin, Meyer, and Harbaugh).
Jared not questioning coaching methods but questioning coaching medthods. Well thats why you dont make $7+ a year coaching the #1 team in the nation. I'lll side with Lanning on this one.
lol we just gonna pretend like they don’t have snow games in the Midwest almost every November? Michigan/Ohio state has been in the 30’s and 20’s the last 5 years
The issue with the PI stuff is it didn’t seem fairly called. They didn’t call it both ways. Good on Dan for attempting to find a fix

Erik needs to bring back some good Madison food places for future reference.
Heading to Madison this week, maybe I’ll see you guys in a pub or three! Cheers!
Great episode guys!🙏

It would (have been) a perfect match-up for Tez.

The Midwest has been warmer than normal. Sub-freezing weather will arrive a few days after the game.

How we feel about the NFL lanning buzz?
