They did a great job with him, just wish they were able to get the actual voice and license
The hair looks so realistic to me. It’s my favorite part.

The new crypt keeper seems to be accurate to his real size! The true crypt keeper puppet for is 4 ft 3 inches tall, From head to toe. The setting position makes 2.5 ft he's about right...... I own 2 of the original Spencer gifts crypt keepers. Same accurate size..... The vintage props were made from Kevin Yeagher's original molds! ...Sent to Gemmy industries, to be produced for Spencer gifts in 1996. The 2023 prop is made by crazy create. So most likely sculpted by some artist. As for looks' quite spot on I must say ...The 1989 Crypt keeper throne chairs I had built to specs. Even back then they never came with chairs. That would be ridiculous for size and price reasons.
If you look carfully at the 2023 cryptkeeper you can see faint 3d printing ridges on the head hands and feet. My guess is they 3d scanned one of kevins or there own 1996 cryptkeepers to make molds from. I love him though I finally have a boo-tifull sitting on a rocking chair in my living room year round..
I don’t think that’s John Kassir’s voice as The Crypt Keeper and that’s my only issue with it. Without it being Kassir, it’s not the CK. Great video!

I am disappointed. For as much as you pay for him his mouth should move. His eyes are OK. I have always loved The Crypt Keeper. I think they could have done better. I know that I don't have to get him now. Thank you for sharing.
The mouth doesn't move because this particular prop was made for Fan service of the original prop from 1996.

Honestly, this years line up so far has been pretty disappointing. The quality of the props keep getting worse, but the prices continue to get higher. Especially, the movement of the props have gotten really lazy so you’re practically paying a fortune for a nearly static prop. I do love the concept this year though. The prop basis is really great, but I’m just not entirely happy with the movement and the horrible prices attached to them.
