I love these vids and really look forward for some more like this started sim drifting recently and want to get as close to real life as possible so getting videos like this for the new packs that come out with the perspective of someone who actually drifts irl would be crazy Like car pack reviews or something 😂
Will you guys add any beater car or only perfectly mint condition drift cars like everyone else’s ? Man I love a good ol’ beater with tire marks and a missing bumper, we don’t get enough of these 🥲
Saw you said AIO and BDC V5, and then obviously swarm, but what else has even come out since then? Feels like there hasn't been enough movement to really justify doing another just yet.
Ive been using Swarm cars for a little over a month now. I like them. Easy to drive and overall fun. But im more into N-Style cars at the moment because of their looks. I dont like all these car packs always being in pristine condition. (Dont get it why people always bring out such mods) N-Style cars look abused and thats pretty cool.
In this video you said this is currently your favourite and in some other comment you mentioned Nstyle being your fav and Swarm second. Which one is it currently? Maybe also under consideration of your T300 wheel, as I'm still driving with that one lol
@@ImNotQualifiedToSayThisBut They've each got their quirks, but Nstyle is my preferred pick out of the two. Regardless of wheelbase I think. Nystyle is more gripped up and probably harder to drive with the turbo lag, plus the inability to tune gearing sucks. But swarm has an overly hard snap on transition which I don't love.
I love the swarm pack. Got it today and it's just great in my opinion. I definitely could delete all the drift cars I have besides these and deathwish and be content.
Honestly I think Assetto struggles with 2 things on the drift side... Low power and low angle. I have yet to drive a car with either of those that doesn't feel punishing compared to sliding a low power or low angle car in real life. I'd almost recommend taking a 400-500 HP car and just tuning it for a ton of grip. Run super low pressure, soften the sway bars, and soften bump/rebound/etc. until it's harder to break loose. In real life you basically tune a lower horsepower car the opposite direction, for example running like 40+ psi at the track makes the wheels easier to break loose and in effect makes the car feel more powerful than it is. Similar thing with increasing dampening. That said, there's the DWG Nissan 240SX Hatch, around 200hp and one of those "wow this feels punishing" type cars to me. Then there's the Gravy 200 HP cars, they have a teaser posted on their discord but I haven't tried them yet.
My personal favorites at the moment are swarm or nsytle. DWG has its place but I think it tends to be a little more punishing compared driving IRL. They really love to understeer. That said, DWG definitely captures grassroots better than swarm or NStyle which I would say are more pro-am build level.

Like car pack reviews or something 😂
Just tried them. So cool 🤣🔥I haven’t had fun with a drift pack in a rly rly long time. Thank u sir 🙏🙏
That's high praise, I'm definitely going to try this out!
Thank you for the testing and feedback.
6 new cars are getting final touches to be added to the swarm pack coming in February
Pack could really use a janky 350z ;)

usa specs cars you say........👀@@JankyDrift

its a discussion we have had, based on feedback, ill add this feedback to the bank for you @@JeuneF
You deserve more, love yr vids man
I don't know who I bribe at UA-cam to get more views, let me know if you find out lol. Appreciate it though.
0:43 i got a crabwalk in my irl winter drift car, when i welded its differential.
Dont defend gravy.
Would appreciate a new top 10 most realistic car pack list since it has been a couple months now
Saw you said AIO and BDC V5, and then obviously swarm, but what else has even come out since then?

Yeah I should probably try more packs then@@JankyDrift
Best car pack ever, that holden is a beast.
Yoo sick review!!
is DWG still the best if u want realistic experience?
DWG is still a good choice for something that is kinda close to real life.

I've been jumping back and forth between Swarm and Nstyle, I just wish there were more damn LHD cars for us folks in the US and elsewhere that run it.
really like the fairlady but i think they are a bit too snappy in general.
okay, I'll check it--
Do a vdc and team effort car pack review. Would be nice
Love the pack! if there needs to be an improvment then it definitely needs to be how the cars actually sound 🙏
Haha yea agreed xD
As a beginner on G920, i could not go more than a corner without siping out. It's a very well made pack overall, but i lack the skill.
1:55 link to track?
ESDA Englishtown.

@@JankyDrift Thanks! Your stuff has been of great help to me

swarm vs dwg then?
@marcusnilsson7284 sorry for the late reply lol, terrible with youtube notifications. I prefer dwg overall, vs swarm. But I like both a whole lot.
ill check these out for sure 👍
100% gonna try it!
Please review the bdc v6
BDC pack is a lot of fun!
@JankyDrift thank you for your answer, but is it realistic
IMO it falls more into the "less realistic" ballpark
what track were you drifting on? it looks nice to drift on
there are a couple in here but you might be referring to Grange. That's the desert looking one
Quick question. Is the link in the description safe to download?
It was when I posted it - I would recommend going to their discord for the most up to date link

What pack do you recommend for us low power boys? I'm currently using the ADC Miata with the power turned down to 140hp.

@@JankyDrift If you like I can send over the mod.
@JankyDrift check Team Excite & Kuba Przygonski S13 and E46 pack
I have a short review on Excite, part of my 2023 best drift packs. Do need to try the others though.
Where would you put it when compared to n-style and dwg packs?
At the moment based on what i find myself going back to:
1. Nstyle
2. Swarm
3. Dwg
What would you say in realism, DWG vs swarm?
My personal favorites at the moment are swarm or nsytle. DWG has its place but I think it tends to be a little more punishing compared driving IRL. They really love to understeer. That said, DWG definitely captures grassroots better than swarm or NStyle which I would say are more pro-am build level.
@@JankyDrift so dwg is still the best grassroots?
@@marcusnilsson7284 yeah that's probably fair to say.
@@JankyDrift And swarm vs nstyle im guessing swarm is more realistic?
@@JankyDrift Also whats your take on BDC 5?
Have you tried bdc v5 yet?
Saw they were coming out but haven't had a chance yet. Might do an updated video review on them if it's significantly different than V4.
Oh they are trust me they are not going on your next most realistic cars list, might go on best fc cars list though…@@JankyDrift
Do it on v6 please@@JankyDrift
still no servers in eu with them :(
Hard to find any with them honestly
Where do you download this pack. Every mod site I go to for whatever reason it’s hard to find
www.vosan.co/driftcarpacks/team-swarm-car-pack
are death wish garage cars outdated?
Not necessarily outdated, yet. They're still good, but there's new stuff constantly coming out. If you're not in motion, eventually you get passed by.
