Lemme tell ya! Smokey Quartz, for me, it's a STRONG sedative. since I've put a pendant on 5 days ago, I've been sleeping over 9 hours x night. I usually slept 6-7hours max. And I feel super relaxed and more centered during the day. It's just simply an amazing stone. Even more relaxing than amethyst.

Hi! This is a great question. Some pieces of smoky quartz can be very light coloured that they almost look like clear quartz. If you put a piece of smoky quartz that is very light on a white piece of paper, then you can see that it is not white but will have a bit of colour to it. ~blessings, Christa :)
HydroSticky sometimes it is hard to tell as fake crystals can look so real! Buying crystals from a reputable source helps. Sometimes glass can look very clear and can have bubbles inside whereas quartz wouldn't have those same type of bubbles in it. Glass also scratches easier than quartz, but I wouldn't recommend trying to scratch a crystal because it may get damaged.
tha ks for this,never felt drawn to ti but recently have been curious today. I still have not found any good videos on the most simple crystal of all…CLEAR QUARTZ/ I would LOVE if you did one on it, I understand it can be all-purpose but either way I would love to hear your take on this, you would think there are many videos on this topic, but couldn't find any from Caroline either! net you both comment on it :) p.s. didn't know that smokey quartz also works for EMF< still my go to shungite,but i amy now get some based on that info!!! love any other info you have on this…hmm.

What I love about smoky quartz is that it acts as a vacuum cleaner, sucking out negative vibes from the environment and from people too. I keep one one my desk and in my office and wear one too. I thinking bout buying a crystal cluster and smoky quartz cluster and carrying them on my waist bag at all times, would you recommend this?
In my experience, I have carried around clusters and they got damaged. So, instead I will carry tumbled stones.
