I love how excited you get!! You were lost for words at times hehe. Where did you get your knowledge and interest for gems etc?

Is quartz crystals worth a lot of money
Got a tip long time ago that Quartz crystals can be found not far from where we live. It took us a while to find the place, but we got more than what we're hoping for. We also found Light colored Amethyst, Citrine and Smoky Quartz Crystals.
+Liz Kreate You're so lucky to live in an area with such nice mineral assets. I live in Ohio in the U.S. and mostly have limestone and glacial placer deposits. Some areas to mt south have some areas worth looking at but not like where you are. Looking forward to your next rock hounding adventure. Ask Pedro if he's a pretty boy. ;-)
+Mike West WOW Mike, Limestone and glacial placer deposits means GEMSTONES and gold. :-) If it was me, I would be exploring the areas your're in. Thanks for watching and commenting. By the way, Pedro said "You're sexy boy Pedro!" Cheers, Liz
+elisha coldwell Thanks for watching and commenting Elisha. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz

+keybard I'm glad you finally made the jump. It is a very addictive and enjoyable hobby that can also be very rewarding. Wish you all the very best and hope to bump into you next Saturday at the rock swap. Cheers, Liz
Love your videos. So adventurous. Wish you would put more videos like this. I know you have a video explaining how to process stones or crystals but I would like to learn more from you so I can do them myself at home. Maybe u can show us tools that we will need to work on minerals. Great job on videos
+Tkay Vs. Art I do have some videos on Lapidary that shows some tools that I use for processing gemstones. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Thank you Liz for another wonderful, informative and fun video! All the very best!
I love your videos! You sound so happy and excited when you find crystals, i love it. I've been trying to find crystals near a river by my house, but I haven't had any luck. This gives me hope that I'll find some soon! :D
Just keep your eyes peeled to the ground Chelsea and pick up anything that looks pretty and different from the other rocks. I'm sure that one day, you'll find a really nice gem. All the best, Liz

+townsville69 Thanks for watching and glad that you're enjoying my videos. Hope you get the chance to go out there again and fossick. All the best, Liz
Hello again I have a question: Have you ever found large crystals like a big specimen of Quartz? I know you've found some pretty amazing pecies of amethyst.
PS: love the excitement!!
+Alexander Martinez We have found what I would consider a giant crystal specimen. Unfortunately, we have to leave it behind as it was too big to extract and take with us at that time. We are however planning to go back there one day when we can take a caravan. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Love watching your videos, you get so excited, thanks Liz , keep them coming...😀
+Manda Sutcliffe Thank you for watching and commenting Manda. All the best, Liz

Wow very exciting to watch finding crystals!
Very nice trip there, I wonder where is the location? Wherever it is, that's quite a lot of quartz of almost every kind, but just clear, amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz, milky, etc. This is surely a good rockhounding place there.
+Nick K Thanks for watching Nick and hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz
Cool that you get just as excited with a small one as wallies big one LOL.
3 months waiting a new video haha, i love the rare smoke amethyst double, greetings from Mexico Liz :)
+Eros Toledo Barrios Unfortunately Eros, work seems to always get in the way of prospecting. :-) Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Hey Liz! Love your videos and enjoy watching when I have the time. I was wondering if you knew of any places in the Murraylands in south Australia that you can find crystals/gems like this?
+Stella Marie Hi Stella, We haven't had a chance to explore that part of Australia yet. Your best bet is to join or contact the Gem and Mineral Club from your area as they would have regular outings to gem locations. Good luck and wish you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
I would love to go where you went! I've been searching everywhere online to see where to dig yourself some citrine but can't find any
My granddaughter found a big clear Quartz Chrystal on the street right by an are that had been dug up by Caltrans . Unfortunately, she lost it in in an hour ,but it was a nice one .
So interesting! I love how excited u get :) thanks for uploading
+Ty N You're welcome and thanks for watching. I blame the excitement on these crystals. So much fun. :-) Cheers, Liz
Liz, you inspire me to want to go crystal and gem hunting and I am in an area that is great for that. I also love that song at the beginning of this video. Could you tell me where I could get it?
+Lynne Goodrich Thanks for watching Lynne and glad you enjoyed the video. The song is called "Happy Mandolin" and can be downloaded from the UA-cam Library. Cheers, Liz
Amazing. Liz I'm watching your videos and yes I'm trying to do the gem hunting. But unfortunately I didn't find any yet because I couldn't find any right place where to mine or looking for gem yet that is very interesting. Your videos are inspiring me.
Keep at it Rmz. We once stopped for a break from driving somewhere that is not known for gemstones. I hop out of the car and looked down and saw a rock with stripes. Wal laugh at my find saying it's just a rock. When I got home and cut and polished it, it turned out to be petrified wood. So you just never know. All the best, Liz
How much do you think rose quartz crystals are worth? I found a ton of beautiful rose quartz around Cooma
Great fun ,you are so lucky..Well done..
Hi Liz Kreate! This is JC from the Philippines and I've been collecting quartz crystals for almost two months now. I located all of them at the beach near to our house. I just want to ask about what certain thing can make them more clean like terminating other rock particles sticking to the crystal itself? I saw this video of yours and I find it very interesting because all the quartz you found turned into very neat and clean crystals like no other rock particles stick on them. Hope I can find solution from you. Thank you so much. -JC, Philippines
Hi JC, Good to know that you're finding crystals where you are. It is a very rewarding hobby but unfortunately can also be a lot of work.
Different quartz crystals from different locations will require different cleaning method. Below is a link to a really good article on the subject. Wishing you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
www.mindat.org/article.php/403/Cleaning+Quartz
Thank you so much Liz. I am surprised that these quartz do exist in my place. Thank you for the reply and the link you gave! I am really interested with gems yet no machines to use for polishing.
Wow, I just love all of them! Here in Florida all we have are crushed sea shells and shark teeth and the shark teeth are getting harder to find! Happy hunting ....
+Donna Day Thanks for commenting Donna and happy hunting to you too. Cheers, Liz
Lis your videos are great, I would love to see some more opal videos 😉😊👌
+Mr Fish Guru I have plans of doing more Opal videos in the future. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Hi! I have collected some rock that I think might have some agitated or geodes in them but I don't have a saw like you do in your workshop so I was wondering if you know how I could cut them without a saw
+Nina Birt Hi Nina, My husbands method is to hit it with a hammer or geopick. (not recommended)
My method is that you find a Gem and Lapidary Club near you and see if they could cut it for you. You can also try cutting it using a wet tile saw that has a diamond blade. Cheers, Liz
OMG!! Which place is this?? It's amazing
I love hearing how excited you are! Im exactly the same.. my boyfriend has to calm me down hahaha
+Effie Moore And that is why most Women lives longer than men Effie. ;-) Thanks for watching and commenting and STAY Happy. Cheers, Liz
We found *HUGE* purple and white rocks here in NJ, they could have quite a bit of Amethyst and Quartz in them.
Love your vids. We founf a nice quartz vein here in Wa. We have dug and dug and dug but no points just quartz chunks. A few clear bits bit no points. Will there be clear points in most veins?
Hard to tell unless I can survey the area. Just like in this video, What we tend to do is explore another spot. Due to different conditions when they're forming, Quartz form in a lot of different ways. Just like the saying birds of the same feather flock together, quartz/minerals tend to be found in the same spot/area. So I suggest you try digging another hole. I have a new video on zigzag amethyst and it explains how to follow the quartz veins. Happy Hunting, Cheers, Liz
Liz Kreate thanks Liz, i will head back and have another good look around and dig. Quite happy just finding more clear stuff. Some points will be icing in the cake
Do you sell these crystals? If cut and put into jewelry, would the lay person believe them to be diamonds? Have you ever found diamonds? How could you tell the difference?
were is the spot i just been up to inverelle found some but not enough time to really digg partners always friken working anyway i want to go there were is it.
Can we discuss the quarts part are you collecting em for a army with it?
I have a slight chip on tip of my crystal. Can you please guide what I could use to regain it's point. Thank you ...
I'm sorry to hear that Linda. The only way to have a point on the crystal back is to cut/grind and polish it. Cheers, Liz
Love your videos! Heading to Grabben Gullen tomorrow to see what I can find, do you know how far you can dig there? Is it just literally under the bridge? I found some citrine and 2 small green sapphire last time I was there and that was just noodling xx
+Laura mc I just found your comment Laura. I haven't been to GG for a while and don't know what the area looks like now. The bridge is a starting point. You can go up or down the creek and dig in the creek itself. I hope your trip was a success. Cheers, Liz
+Liz Kreate thanks hun! I went back again and found 5 small ones, so lovely being out in the country and getting back into nature! All the best ☺️⛏💎
+Laura mc Glad that you found some. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers, Liz
+Liz Kreate do u think i can find minerals in my country (Bangladesh) like this. how should i start and what should i look for?
+Md. Sifat ullah Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the world, so I would assume that you will have some in your country. Good luck and wish you all the very best. Cheers, Lizx

Below is a link that might help you Linda. Cheers, Liz
www.wikihow.com/Polish-Stones
could you tell me how you get them so clean and shiny. maybe your next video please.
+Rebecca lord Hi Rebecca, The cleaning process I use vary depending on where the crystals come from and can take quite some time. Not the next video but maybe a future video. :-) Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
I'm confused about getting stones.Calcite and Quartz looks alike. Can you help me identify them?
Calcite is a much softer stone than quartz. Try doing a scratch test and you'll soon find out which one is which. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
i have rock like that but i dont know how to identify i need help to identify my rock?
U become crazy mom. Love it ❤️❤️❤️ crystals crystal beautiful
Hi! Liz, I love your videos! and I really want to find somo geodes... but I live in Hermosillo, Sonora (Mexico)
can I find them Here?
Thank you Liz! you have a new sub!
+Luis Esteban Peres Ballesteros There are a lot of different gemstones that can be found in Mexico, but I don't know if you'll have them near where you live. May I suggest you do a bit of research on the net or your local library of different mineral occurrences and use that as a starting point. Good luck and Happy Hunting. Cheers, Liz
Hi , do u know what type of rocks that exudes color when u put it in the water ,I saw a video in UA-cam the guy put the rock in cup of water and the rock start exudes color , I just wondering if u know any type of rocks can do that
