Was fortunate to be there in the 1972, before the fence was there and you could actually drive up closer to the wheel. Very spiritual grounds. Thanks for sharing your video.

I had your experience there on a foggy morning in 1962. The five in our group were the only people there. It was eerie and beautiful, but I think it's better now with the fence and no cars. Shows respect.

I'm glad not many know about the other medicine wheels in that area or about the gaint arrow that points to those medicine wheels over near Yellowstone park. I know of many other great things early natives have left behind.

There are others?? I'm from Worland and just went to medicine wheel yesterday. I'd love you see the other ones around!

@@Gr8WhiTe1990 ....yes & I really don't like to show other folks. Nothing against you as an individual but if I was to show you what would stop you from showing others.? Then I run the chance of them being destroyed...

I was there about five years ago. It is a hallowed place. I felt enormously connected to the world while I was there. Thanks for reminding of the place.

I live in Buffalo Wyoming there are two of them off highway 16. Not as close to the highway like 14 but every bit as beautiful and not as many people. In fact one of the wheels is by Meadowlark lake hardly anyone knows about it. Us locals think ancient Indians built them. Because you can find arrowheads by

My grandfather worked in the Bighorn mountains in the 1950s. He work for the Forest Service. He helped build and maintain many of the dirt back roads that you drive on in the bighorns. In the 1970s my grandfather, my aunt and uncle had an experience they could never explain at the medicine wheel.

I Live close to this place in Sheridan. It has some bad energy there I think the ceremony's the Indians did here was to leave their bad energy's there as like a cleansing ritual. What was his experience there if you don't mind me asking?

@@bighornaudioproductions6104 ok....you're going to think this is crazy.....I wasn't very old....I just remember my grandfather looking...concerned/confused......
They had been followed down the road, that used to go to the wheel....They had left...It was starting to get dark...I'm sure how far down the road they were when the lights appeared. They appeared out of nowhere..bright blinding lights....behind them coming closer and closer...It wasn't another vehicle...no one else was there when they left....the lights got closer....they started to rotate...brighter.....rotating...My aunt noticed it first.....( there's no sound)....the silence is deafening ....the truck going faster down the road....the light wildly rotating/ pulsating bright blinding light...then suddenly....the light.went straight up into air....and shot off at angle...... I know more happened....but my grandfather...
.is no longer alive to ask those questions....
But from what I understand.....they weren't the only ones who had an experience with the lights...

@bighornaudioproductions6104 you couldn't be more wrong. This place is sacred to us natives and it always has been. It is a place of good medicine, if you feel negative here then it's projection on your part!

We crossed the Bighorn Mtns lasted year when we moved. I pulled our camper up and over and was paranoid my Jeep would not make it...but we did...lol..thankfully. We didnt get to stop at the Medicine Wheel...so seeing it through your lens is so interesting!!! If you are still in the area, I highly recommend driving the Beartooth Hwy....it is gorgeous too!! It might close soon due to snow...so check it out. Be safe...until next time😆

Hi, Erica! So good to hear from you! It takes guts to tow over the Big Horns, that is for sure! I bet you were glad when you got to the other side :) Thanks for the tip - we did a small portion of it last summer when we visited Yellowstone, but we did not do the whole thing. Maybe next time!

This place seems so nice and breathtaking, maybe will be visiting this summer , it’ll be my first road trip from Texas. I think it’ll do me Good spiritually and mentally since this trip it’s what it’s about. Finding myself again.

I think if you take your time and don't rush, the Bighorn region will restore your spirit. Safe travels.

"Route 90?" Geesus, how far the human race has fallen. Seeing millennials here is like seeing 5 wheels on a car

Very rude. There are signs everywhere asking to respect Native Americans and not take pictures. You bad guests.
