Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) should have instructed companions to right down how he used to pray. Today, some people pray eid salah with 12 takbeers and some with 6 takbeers. On the other hand, some say takbeer just before ruku in the second rakah. It seems like two different types of salah. Salah totally messed up by different scholars. Maybe we will never get to know how exactly prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions used to pray.
