I love how Howard tries to talk about Brendan's jealousy, envy or just competitiveness towards other actors and Brendan humbly reveals he has none of those and genuinely enjoys other's success.
He is both of those qualities. I was at a screening of The Whale last night, and he did a Q&A after. He is so gracious and kind and funny...he wears his heart on his sleeve and it's wonderful. I hope he wins the Oscar too, he deserves it
Love that Brendan Fraser has so wonderfully transitioned from heartthrob to this kind of wise elder statesman type figure. His warmth, wisdom and empathy is just amazing to behold.
I remember seeing School Ties when it came out and Brendan was fantastic! He is a very talented actor and so happy for his Oscar nomination! He hit it out of the park with The Whale! I hope he wins best Actor!❤
Brenden could direct some great movies on the way he describes things and tells stories. He is very authentic and genuine in his recent years of interviews and talks
Brenden is a Canadian National Treasure...if we could distill his spirit and send that across the globe, waking up the next morning would be an absolute pleasure, regardless of location. Love you, kiddo! 🇨🇦🥰😎
Brendan has a beautiful and genuine smile. “School Ties “ movie was one of few movies I saw in English shortly we immigrated to USA. It was difficult to watch because of the language barrier at that time. But the subject of antisemitism was so close to me. I brought to America my family, including my two sons, 16 & 12 at that time , because of the antisemitism in USSR. Fraser was so realistic! My oldest son and myself watched him not leaving TV even for minute. Strange was that we understood almost everything what was said. We have watched it than couple more times. Last time a month ago. After 32 years I still love this movie.
I used to be a fan of Brendan because of how hot he was. Yes, that shower scene was amazing to me! Now I see what a beautiful person he is on the inside, with a sensitive heart and an insightful brain.
Mr. Clean-cut American in person. How could he have had problems getting movies? He is a convincing actor with a big understanding of what he is doing! I love his movies!
School Ties will always be a favorite movie of mine. And whoever cast that movie knew how to pick future stars in movies and TV and a couple Oscar winners and in 2023 perhaps a third.
Cowards!!!!! I'm 55 y/o and my closest friend & I still will text each other..... "cowards" to get a good chuckle. We must of watched that movie 15 times together

Stern is a goblin
@@omensoffate Agreed
Brendan seems to be a genuinely nice and down to earth person. I hope he wins the Oscar.

Very humble
Austin Butler in "Elvis".
He seems so humble, love his vibe
@@chazarcola7639 It's gonna be Brendan lmao
He was great in school ties. That character was so full of integrity and confidence....yet still overcome by peer pressure somehow.
School Ties is a truly underrated movie! Thanks for affirming how much I ❤❤ this movie!
Love that Brendan Fraser has so wonderfully transitioned from heartthrob to this kind of wise elder statesman type figure. His warmth, wisdom and empathy is just amazing to behold.
This is the most genuine guy on earth. I wish I could meet him some day.
A friend of mine met him at a Comic Con, said he was just amazing

Are you a nubile young Asian or Latino? Hang around Soho, he'll find you.
The most? On earth? Calm down.
Chill out buddy , sounding desperate

No, truthful.
Howard always steers it negative, but I love it when his guests don't bite & keep their answer positive ❤
right?? like wtf lol
He wasn’t negative at all you can tell you don’t ever listen to Howard
It’s his technique and ends up making his guest look so good. Why he’s such a great interviewer
It’s Howard Stern. His whole brand is about his neurosis.
Howard has a weird way of asking questions but the naked part really wasn't needed lol.
This film and Brendan’s performance had such a profound impact on me when I watched it as a kid. Really is a beautiful film and powerful performance.
This is fucking Encino Man, An Airhead, George of the Jungle, A fucking mummy fighter. He is Legend!
Yes 🔥🔥
If you haven’t seen GODS AND MONSTERS you should also add it to your LEGEND LIST. 👍🏽
Brendan seems so kind and positive. Makes my heart happy 🥰
Love Brendan Fraser, one of the few truly genuine kind souls in an otherwise toxic industry.
Brendan is all heart. I grew up watching all his movies. And the mummy is my feel good movie. He deserves the world.
I didn’t even realize how much I missed Brendan Fraser
Until his PR firm reminded you.
THE KING IS BACK, BAYBEEE!!!
School Ties is a very underrated movie and launched 4 careers. Fraser, O'Donnell, Damon, and Affleck.
Don't forget cole Hauser. He's been in a lot of stuff over the years.
Ironically, the real hero of this movie is forgotten : RANDALL BATINKOFF.
Ben Affleck was a non character.
I don't know that it launched their careers other then Brendan.
I remember seeing School Ties when it came out and Brendan was fantastic! He is a very talented actor and so happy for his Oscar nomination! He hit it out of the park with The Whale! I hope he wins best Actor!❤
We all do.
Me too me too! OMG me too! OMG I’m freaking out! Oh god oh god oh god!
Brenden could direct some great movies on the way he describes things and tells stories. He is very authentic and genuine in his recent years of interviews and talks
Sean Kazmi
Yes, he's quite the storyteller. If anyone starts fact checking, he's done.
One of the most humble humans ever
"School Ties" is one of my favorite protagonist performances ever. Impacted my love for film.
It's similar to "Remember the Titans" but a bit darker.
I love him in “With honors” as well. Great movie.
vastly underrated movie. Though Fraser is great in it, Joe Pesci carries the film.
Just rewatched “School Ties” after this interview.
A good film, and Brendan was terrific.
What a great interview, Brendan seems so knowledgeable about film - how long before we see him directing?
It's amazing how much Robin brings to every show.
I love Brendan so much
So happy he's back. Love his voice.
Blast from the Past was my fave of his
Totally.
Brenden is a Canadian National Treasure...if we could distill his spirit and send that across the globe, waking up the next morning would be an absolute pleasure, regardless of location. Love you, kiddo! 🇨🇦🥰😎
Brendan has developed a unique and extremely difficult trait:
Genuinely being happy for someone else’s success.
cdub55
It's all an act.
@@ifyouonlyknew811Nice of you to applaud his acting ability.

So few remember School Ties and With Honors is another great dramatic role with a great cast
He's such a gentle spirit. I love him and want to roll him in a blanket and put him in front of the tv, turn on netflix and feed him snacks.
Fraser is interesting in all his roles. He captures the screen. Very rare.

All 54?
Defenitely one of his Best Films ,next to The Mummy , With Honors and of course The Whale.
Fell in love with him when that movie came out. Loved his bit part in "Dogfight," prior to School Ties.
Brendan Fraser is so likable.
Oh, the crush i had on him in ‘School Ties’.
"I am not confident in that area" 👍
School Ties is the first movie I think of when I think of Brendan and that I thought he was fantastic in it!
He's so eloquent. ❤
Such a breath of fresh air.. earth angel
“I know these schmoes!” 🤣
That was a great movie. Lot of truth there.
School Ties is the 90s version of The Outsiders. Great cast with a lot of up and coming stars.
Love “School Ties!” Best last line ever!!!
School Ties is a great movie. Brendan best movie.
I used to be a fan of Brendan because of how hot he was. Yes, that shower scene was amazing to me!

Top bloke
Mr. Clean-cut American in person.

He is a convincing actor with a big understanding of what he is doing!
I love his movies!
Make a School Ties 2
Luv Brendan 🙏😊
I saw this when I was 12 and loved it!!
I can't remember the last time I watched Stern interview an actor and not try to bait them to air petty greviances they don't actually have.
School Ties will always be a favorite movie of mine. And whoever cast that movie knew how to pick future stars in movies and TV and a couple Oscar winners and in 2023 perhaps a third.
Great movie great acting by Brendan.
I loved School Ties
I always appreciated Brendan
School Ties absolutely. It’s such an incredible movie. Not only Brendan was great but Matt … as a bigot. So good.
Scent Of A Woman is better.
I want to see the unedited version!!!!
Brendan have the best vibe.
Also Cole Houser...
Cole Hauser is fantastic in Yellowstone.
@@joemckim1183 great actor love him in school ties he actually took david' s side in the end check cole out in higher learning great performance
Higher learning also
We need a new Mummy movie with Stephen Sommers directing, with Oded, Rachel and John Hannah.
Movie so simple yet sooooo fking deep
Cowards!!!!! I'm 55 y/o and my closest friend & I still will text each other..... "cowards" to get a good chuckle. We must of watched that movie 15 times together
The best part!
Great movie 🎉
I'd love to hear him talk about his Scrubs roll
The most memorable guest appearance ever. He was incredible.
Awesome Brendan. 👍💟
Such a great movie
Noone ever brings up with honors ...such a good movie
what a sweet spirit
That was filmed at my school. Some of my classmates older brothers were in that flick
Which school?
With honors will always be his best in my book
Cole Hauser was also in School Ties
So good.
I used to have that movie poster
this movie was my life
Howard stern’s key question ‘were you nude?’😅
Brendan Fraser 😊👌👍🍁♈🍁
With Honors is amazing also!
Makes me think of the movie ‘eastern promises’ with Viggo Mortensen. That naked fight scene
With Honors ❤️
With Honors ❤️ remember that one?
Brendan Frasier = feels 😊
All I Hear is "Elliott" from 'BEDAZZLED'.😜
Brendan Fraser and Keanu Reeves are Hollywood’s best
I haven't seen School Ties yet.
It's a good film, definitely check it out
How could Howard not even mention "Bedazzled" given how sexy Elizabeth Hurley was in it?
Howard’s embarrassed by his schmeckle.
I didn't know that Jeff Goldblum did radio.
💗
Love him ❤
Eventually Brendan got his role of a life time with the Mummy. All his friends and he dun good in the end.
It was The Outsiders of that time.
I forgot George of the Jungle (Brenden Fraser), Batman (Ben Affleck), Robin (Chris O’Donnell) and Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) were in this movie!
Betty Nugs.
Howard Stern was uncomfortable with being born.
I would love to see him play a great role in a Christian based film
Smokey Joe's Cafe
Charlie Dillon got into Harvard.
Too much focus on the nudity in this interview. Brendan wanted to talk about the themes in the movie.
Ange Maidment
Sure he did. Being naked in boarding school are some of his fondest memories, on and offscreen.
I'm O.K. with that.
The themes are played out.
