This was his best rendition of Little B's Poem, with Ron Carter , Herbie Hancock , and Anthony Williams. These guys are the absolute best at their craft !
They should have mentioned Hutcherson. Since he wrote this tune. I don't like Hancock when he solos like this. Sounds like he is just trying to impress and not really saying any thing. He is a great composer, Chans Song, I Have a Dream, Little One etc. Good when he plays more layer back and bluesy.

Fantastic performance by Bobby Hutcherson on Vibes and some nice bass by Ron carter , not to mention Herbie and Tony underpinning it all beautifully !
Amazing jazz-waltz tune. Four giants at stage.
Good memories with some great guys... Thanks for sharing this one.
Beautiful video. R.i.p. bobby and tony.

Art Blakey groovin in the wings there? Stage left?
Mark ODay in the suit & tie? I don’t think so ... Art had totally white/gray hair by this time I think…
NOT A TRIO!
Vibes equals 4th person
"The Trio +1"= 4
