The only way to break a curse is by maneging to do the opposite of it. The witch cursed him to "Love no-one, be loved by no-one and live in misery" meaning he has to do the opposite of those things, he loves the maid and clearly the maid loves him leaving "not living in misery" for last, answer to the curse is "Marrying his true love" aka the maid.

The artistic style of the characters, I love the Plague Doctor outfit, it's just different and unique in its own way. The characters are amazing, I love each and one of their personalities. If I had to give a rating, 8.9/10 would be it. (9/10 would be like I can't stop watching it and/or it's the greatest thing I've ever watched.)

I especially like how the love interest isn’t forced or anything. Maybe it’s because I’ve been watching too many harem animes, but I love how they’re both extremely honest about how they love each other. No teasing, no oopsy embarrassing moments, no slaps to the face with a 5 ft pole for the guy being a perv, this is just a young couple experiencing their first awkward relationship in a semi-professional setting. Yeah, Alice is thirsty as hell, but she only ever teases him, and otherwise they have a healthy relationship.

@@helpfulDeathgod honestly I think if you cut a lot of the fat from the manga (a lot of it is filler slice of life) and streamline the story it becomes a lot more enjoyable. The whole time I was reading the manga I just wanted to see the plot advance and it goes soooo glacially slow. I just don't think it was what I was looking for in a manga personally.

The style of animation is extremely interesting. The way the characters move is also a bit strange. Sometimes they use smooth animation, and other times the characters seem to freeze or slow down dramatically mid-movement.

It's much like the 2 anime series the team who animated beastars did, yet it's more like the first one before beastars
