I like the heritage design they used for this car. I see influences from 71-72 Eldorado's and 80-85 Seville's. Cadillac emblems throughout the interior is definitely an 80's Brougham influence. I like this car. It's the new Sedan DeVille. Nice job on the review.
Caddilac is back for sure! Beautiful to look at, stunning interior, and handling and performance to match. Now can Caddilac sit at the same table as Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Jaguar. If i was living in the US, I would have picked this one over the competition. Congratulations Caddilac, I know you had it in you! Cheers.
Purchased the 2018 CT6 Platinum with the Super Cruise, its no doubt that the heritage of the Deville name or Fleetwood name is inside the vehicle but its all wrapped up in so much high technology that is a blast to drive and a blast to look at. The super cruise on this vehicle solidify this vehicle in a class by itself. I will be purchasing another one but it will be the Blackwing V, extremely sad that Cadillac stop offering this vehicle for the North American region but it still being produced for the China market.
Wow, they spent 4 years on the sound system, but apparently not the transmission; that was your first complaint, which is major. I have a'89 SedanDeville with crush velvet interior. I like the CT6, but I'll wait another year for the bugs to get out! Great video.
+Lauren Fix it would have been nice if you actually show some interior & exterior shots of the car after all that's what most people came here for; to actually see the car & some of the tech & features at work.
I love you and your show!!! Please tell me when the CT6 V-Sport with the 4.2 twin turbo comes out. I’d like to buy one. Our local dealer is hush hush about it
What I have always wanted, a large luxury sedan that's very comfortable and quite. Before this Caddy the only options available were the three big Germans (MB S Class, BMW 7 series, Audi A8) and all are too expensive to buy and run. I would get the 54k CT6, I don't care if it has 4 bangers under the hood, at least they put down around 300 lbs/ft of torque!!
Um not really. The XTS is comfortable (arguably more than the CT6), it's large and quiet. So, no, sorry sir, the CT6 is not the only option. Both are beautiful especially at dusk/night. You can't beat the ride quality in an XTS for the price, tbqh. Maybe the Genesis, but that's it. If you want anything better, you're going to have to get the S class.
Yoshiaki K. Yes I have forgotten about the XTS, I took one for a test drive a while back, i have driven it for 4 hours and was actually more relaxed after the drive! I like the rear of the XTS more but the front of the CT6 is better looking
this is the best design of Cadillac they ever had! please don´t call that LED design detail "teardrop", it just makes it sound tacky, which has nothing to do with Cadillac.
Chinese car review channels have taken Cadi, Bimmer and MB apart, they found Cadi uses the best quality parts and Bimmer uses the cheapest internal parts.
+BeverageGuzzler 2016, got it 3 days before the stop sale. Just love my Cayenne, we have a 2013 too. Both diesel. Just drove from Mid-Ohio to Buffalo- 34mpg at 80mph 👍
Lauren Fix Okay, thanks. Now for a bit of nostalgia taking a trip down memory lane. Just one more question for now if you don't mind because I'm just curious. Do you remember your very first car ? the year, make and model ?
Overall, the Cadillac CT6 drives really great. Do NOT like the "ACTIVE STEERING" where there rear wheels angle 3 degrees. Do NOT like the video rear mirror which requires your eyes to refocus to see a nearby displayed image rather than a distant reflected image.. Also do NOT like the very wide pillars which impair driver's view - especially for pulling onto expressway or beginning to pass.
Do car buyers actually understand that this Cadillac is pointing out to the future of luxury cars? Now let's wait for the semi-autonomous driving tech and the PHEV CT6....
I like the think of the LED lights as tattoo teardrops. Symbolizing all of the competitors this car should be eliminating....This is a Detroit Gangster ride for sure. Needs a V-8 or V8 TT option to score a "Fatality". (Mortal Combat reference) and justify a $90-100k price tag.
cmscms123456 ...The CT6 is here to change all of that. It's for dicerning drivers that want the best of the best. It will hold its value much longer than the Cadillacs of yesteryear. Features including a top shelf interior, driver and passenger comfort and amenities. Also, superb drive quality which includes quad steer for tight spaces. Entertainment centers, flat screens and massaging rear seats are just a the tip of the iceberg. You owe it to yourself to check out the CT6 and take it for an unforgettable drive. Absolutely the leader of its segment.
Nice car, too bad they didn't hybrid it properly. No one is interested in strictly gas engines, even Porsche is making a completely E motor car, Cadillac should have added electric motor and then they would have really hit the bell. Maybe next time.
+sweet dreams Can you even call any car these days with a "Bumper" with an actual bumper in 2016? (Unless you're driving a truck of course). Nothing like my clean Cadillac Fleetwood, now that's what I call a bumper!!
fleet wood agree on the fact that older cars have better bumpers but this Cadillac has the worst bumper design. agree? specially on a sedan this is very bad
Ilham Defra in terms of looks its really nice, but the nice grille being ahead of the bumper will prevent the bumper from doing its work as a bumper, bumpers were made to reduce costs in accidents but here in this car the grill is working as a bumper while being much more expensive because they are not as flexible as bumpers and cant be repainted to the only way is to replace them.
Are you serious? I believe it's one of the most striking and beautiful cars on the road. This thing looks extremely stately and classy on the road, nothing else IMO compares within the price range. Every new Cadillac I've been in has been a head turner and people always want to check it out, that rarely happens with the Mere/Audi/BMW I've owned.

My dad had one, because he works for GM. IT IS SO FREAKING NICE IN THE BACK IT HAS MASSAGE SEATS ON THE PLATINUM TRIM LEVEL.
This car is beautiful, I want one! Great video Lauren!
+Andrew Forbes Great car but uh the review.....
This is one beautiful car thank for the video Lauren.
Caddilac is back for sure!

Cadillac is back.....more bang for your buck, love it....
I would have never imagined the LED lights as tears lol:)
A lot of people are calling it the tear drop led, kind of bad luck in China.
Precise and to the point. Not too much of jargon to confuse me. Described well what you really need to know. Exactly the review I was looking for.
About time cadillac ct6 get a good review from you guy's
This lady has a great personality and naturally good looking too.
Wow, they spent 4 years on the sound system, but apparently not the transmission; that was your first complaint, which is major. I have a'89 SedanDeville with crush velvet interior. I like the CT6, but I'll wait another year for the bugs to get out! Great video.
Would have liked to see more shots on the interior, especially the dashboard
thanks for video
Yeah that was a great review!!!!
Nice review, a bit too short, but all in all it covered what needed to be covered. You got yourself a subscriber :)
+mikealanzo thank you!
+Lauren Fix it would have been nice if you actually show some interior & exterior shots of the car after all that's what most people came here for; to actually see the car & some of the tech & features at work.
Great review, i want to do that
Does Lauren come with the car because I’ll buy one tomorrow if so
I love it when women do a car review. Much more interesting than a man Love her ❤️❤️❤️❤️
how about a walk around the car and interior views
Love this video, nice review. is that Lady included in the package?😇
I love you and your show!!!
Please tell me when the CT6 V-Sport with the 4.2 twin turbo comes out.
I’d like to buy one.
Our local dealer is hush hush about it
Lauren, is the 18/28 mpg with the turbo V6? If it is... that's impressive for a 400+ hp car.
Nice review and succinct!
Nice review!
hi nice review, curious... how was the tire noise on coarse road surfaces was it less noisy than a bmw 7 or bmw 5?
The car was very quiet- that was a big improvement

Seems like a bit of a bargain. Great review Lauren!
What year, make and model of car do you drive yourself for your daily transportation ? Just curious.
+BeverageGuzzler Porsche Cayenne Diesel, and I love it,
Lauren Fix What year ?
+BeverageGuzzler 2016, got it 3 days before the stop sale. Just love my Cayenne, we have a 2013 too. Both diesel. Just drove from Mid-Ohio to Buffalo- 34mpg at 80mph 👍

+BeverageGuzzler 1976 Camaro with a 305. A real POS, sold it and bought a 1979 Mustang Cobra with a 302 engine and a manual transmission
Lauren, the CT6 is $54K with shipping and handling, not $51K. But, other than that, not a bad review.

Wait for the next big recall
you sound kinda ny maybe chicago and looks like you are out west near san diego...kinda like me, east coast trans plant here
+phil tripe Detroit and Buffalo with a touch of NYC. :-)
Looks cool. I'll wait 3 years and buy a used one for $10,000. Caddys have AWFUL resale value. ala Northstar, Seville, Catera, Cimmeron.
cmscms123456 Haha used ct6 35k plus.. this ain't bmw 3 series 😂
cmscms123456 ...The CT6 is here to change all of that. It's for dicerning drivers that want the best of the best. It will hold its value much longer than the Cadillacs of yesteryear. The transmission can be changed thanks to thr modes Cadillac offers
The back of it looks just like a Jaguar Xj4

Hybrid? Leave that for the Econoboxes.
What! no Google Play !
$89K!
More like 65k
too narrow
+BroccoliBeefed Yes it is my opinion which I am entitled to, and yes this car is butt ugly. If you don't like my opinion well then sad day for you.
The absence of a rear middle seat head rest shows Caddy isn't serious. As a driver I want all my passengers have a head rest.
Oh yeah, most definitely..
Well, the CT6 is technically designed to have a 2+2 seat layout. You're really just nit-picking.
first car ever that has the front bumper behind the grille and hood...FAIL.
+sweet dreams Can you even call any car these days with a "Bumper" with an actual bumper in 2016? (Unless you're driving a truck of course).

Show me the bumper on a BMW or any luxury car, u want Cadillac put a F150 bumper on a sedan?
U failed with your comment
That car is as sexy as you!!
Any chance that Cadillac will hire a designer that can actually design. Man is that thing UGLY!!
-.-
It is ugly to you, don't try 5o speak for everyone else. you don't like modern sharp body lines. You prefer the grotesque round designs of the 1950's
+Alex Pittendreigh This car is far from ugly

To each his own.
