    The coolest history teacher that I ever had, had everyone in our class assigned a different verse of the song and we had to choose an event from one of those verses to write an entire essay on and as a result it turned into a couple 100 kids giving a very long-winded speech about all the different historical events throughout that time period and became one huge history lesson for all of us. At the end we got to watch the music video for the song and discuss why we chose the verse that we did. There were many events that some of us didn't live through because we were still children and without that context we may never have looked into them

    The lyrics are so easy to change I actually switched them up to my notes in science and used that to study. It did work! Would recommend :). Story: So one day I found out I had two tests the next week... and of course I was worried. The next day in class, I thought of this song, then decided to switch up the lyrics. It worked! Do use this if you have 3-5 days to study for a test or quiz.
    Aaand I am about to do it again!!
    It got tedious sadly :( but this is an awesome song :DD
    Also back in 2020 I kept hearing this in my dad's office, and I eventually learned the song title. I never thought of the song again. Then a few months ago I heard this on a video I was watching so I checked it out!

    • @wp912
      @wp912 4 місяці тому

      @@manuelorozco7760 It is completely and utterly shameful what has become of the media industry today.
      Having said that, music, film and entertainment are inherently distracting and can provoke an intoxicating effect.
      For instance, you may start dancing or crying or feeling a certain emotion, sometimes even anger, when you listen to music. Culturally it goes hand in hand with alcohol consumption which further makes a person lose control of themselves.
      I recently reverted to Islam and so all forms of media are prohibited along with pork and all intoxicants including tobacco and alcohol. It wasn't easy at first but now I have not listened to any music in over a month.
      It's interesting how once one purifies themselves from these vices your mind and body changes. Now whenever I hear music I hear it for what it is, artificially constructed noise. Really, it's rather fascinating, but its like they say, you cannot tell the trees from the forest when you are immersed in something.
      Taking a step back, alcohol, pork, music, film, these all seem very repulsive to me now. I feel much more healthy because of it.
      I'm not one to believe in anything blindly, by the way. I've researched extensively into many religions and spiritualities.
      The bible for instance, to this day still does not have any original manuscripts in existence, nor are the authors of various books of the bible known, to this day many still remain anonymous.
      The Quran on the other hand has an authenticated chain of narration all the way back to the first manuscripts during the lifetime of the prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
      Did you know that the Quran also contains scientific miracles as well, information that has only recently with the most advanced technology been verified? For instance, the Quran states that all life is created from water. Only recently with advanced microscopes was science able to confirm this, that all cells of living organisms contain water.
      The Quran also states that all planetary bodies, including the sun have an orbit of their own. Again this would have been impossible for anyone to know over 1300 years ago. These are only two of many scientific miracles in the Quran.

    Some have misheard “U-2” and “Payola” as “UA-cam” and “AOL” respectively, but that’s not logical because this song was released in 1989, and no such things as AOL (America Online) or UA-cam existed at the time. The only way to find those misheard lyrics plausible is if whoever misheard them that way had not heard of this song until after having heard of America Online and UA-cam.
