I've been living in the Roseland area in an apartment since 2003 love the area just the Hop skip & jump over to Central Park for the librarie and then another short distance to Spencer Smith for the festivals.
Great question! One reason for this is because Burlington has developed a lot of its areas with neighbourhoods with low density housing (Detached Homes) causing it to be expensive to purchase/rent in. Where are a city like Toronto & Hamilton have a lot more smaller options that are more affordable (Condos & townhomes)!

Yea Roseland is very a central neighbourhood and close to downtown!
