@Antonio You know what's funny back in the early days Everton used to be the Catholic club and by extension the Irish club. While Liverpool was the protestant club and the more english. The first member of my family over from Ireland played for Everton.

How do scousers feel about fans being from other towns, cities even countries? I've been a fan for say, about 27 years probably (even though I had a shirt put on me when I was 4). I feel like the players and fans are like a second family to me, personally. I've been to Liverpool alot and would give my left nut to follow them full time. Yet, I had an uncomfortable experience once when I went to had a ticket in to be scanned and the guy took it off me and said 'pish, not a real scouser are ya?' As he proceeded to rip it. Maybe that's just one bad experience and I can't judge everything on that one guy as I've had many good times with the people of Liverpool. I just wondered, how do fans really feel about "outsiders" following their club?

Very sad to see overseas fans getting abuse on social media and from some fans at the stadium lately. Takes a lot of sacrifice and cash for me and others I know to go over every year to Anfield from Ireland. Spent 500 quid in december for the watford game including flights, accomodation, tickets etc only to find your begrudged and hit with smart remarks by the locals. Turning a lot of us off going over at all anymore.
