Desmond became an overnight internet sensation when his mom posted a video of his school performance, where he sang James Brown's 'I Feel Good', while wearing a Springbok rugby jersey. Since then, his infectious positivity and joyful personality has captured the hearts of South Africans.
Jodell chats to Desmond about meeting the Springboks, his amazing 12 awards since his global recognition, and how he celebrates his touching "GOTCHA DAY" on 2 December - the day that marks his official adoption!
