(Tom here.) Randy and Amanda, GOD has placed another person in your lives that can, and will, bless your I.T.H. venture in the coming days, months and years while helping your 'tiny house' ministry to flourish substantially. GOD is blessing you both with people who will help you spread the word about your I.T.H. communities. Thank You both for spreading the word about these communities!!!!
Randy when you were talking with Tim and you mentioned you are asked how you deal with the stress and you said you don't know but you feel secure, that is God leading you. Love you all.
Hey Manders and Randy great video tonight thank you! Blessings to Tim, Pam, and Hazel🙏. Funny thing, I was having a conversation with my 36yr.old son just yesterday and we were talking about our favorite books as children and he told me that the book that Tim mentioned, Harold and the Purple Crayon, was his favorite book as a child. Anyway, the Grove is looking great, can’t wait to see it once the homeowners move in. Don’t know how they all feel about the gate that you’re going to put in Randy but it would look beautiful with a wrought iron gate so that the community can be seen from the road with all the beautiful homes with the trees and decor and all. May God continue to bless ITH😘🙏❤️😊
Love a little spotlight on homeschoolers. Affordable housing empowers and enrich family's to be able to homeschool. Maybe bring an Incredibox to the next homeschool convention. I could see a symbiotic relationship there 😊
Another video where the right things just seem to come together in meeting that guy with the book. That was a neat conversation you had with him, and he's right in pegging you guys as the kind of folks that book is talking about. The Grove is really coming together right now, and it's amazing how much difference just having driveways, porches started and trenches dug for some fencing makes in visualizing the finished neighborhood. One suggestion I would make is to stagger the different trees you do plant down each street so that it won't be TOO rubberstamped identical. Staggering the trees here and there along the street will make it look more neighborly and friendly. If everything is TOO identically planted, it might feel like an army barracks. It looks like the never-ending Season of Mud is now behind you and you've finally got the wind at your backs. Can't wait to see it happen!
@@CapysGardenShop I don't think people realize how abundant and ubiquitous rodents are. In the country they are EVERYWHERE. Not overly noticeable during the day, but the evidence is there. I had a friend who loved horses (I'm talking forty years ago) and her husband bought her an old farm outside of the town we lived in. Beautiful area and the place needed a lot of work but it was perfect for her and him. It's gorgeous now and worth a ton. Old farmhouse with outbuildings and a HUGE barn with an indoor riding area - he's a big shot with a Real Estate firm and I am sure he got a heads up on this property. Anyhow, we went to visit them a lot. It was surrounded by woods and some high end mc mansions, but mostly farmland and fields. I remember her telling me about how surprised they were with how many rats they had in the barn. Up in the rafters and all throughout it, and they obviously are coming in from the fields and woods. They would have a guy come out occasionally with a pellet gun and just pick them off in the evening and at night, and he'd get fifty or more in a session. So, yes, they are most definitely everywhere and people don't realize how prevalent they are.
A peace that surpasses all understanding, is a peace only God can provide! God’s got your backs! You’re soooooo blessed! It was great meeting Tim. I’ve got to get that book!
OH the places we'll go and the things we will see and best yet.....the people we meet. Life is a journey, filled with adventure. Enjoy the tiny moments of each day.💖🌄
I lived in a nice gated community around Holden Beach NC. But during C-19 we had a lot of city folks move in to the area. Then they started to try to change our little southern community to what they left behind. It wasn't long before I sold my newly built home. Moved back to the country in the mountains on a bigger property. I hope your new residents respect your way of life in Tennessee and don't try to change it.
@@robertbirch4163 I must agree with you. I've had a few places I've lived. My first house was a small ranch on almost an acre of land in the "sort of / almost" country and the neighbors weren't too far away but not immediately next door either. I got along great with all of them, but I've had places where I had some disruptive and very loud and inconsiderate and ignorant ones too. I've had probably five different residences since then, and am retired now. I love my home now, but I dream of one day moving back into the country and having a few acres of land, or even having a little getaway place for my wife and myself to spend a few days at a time and enjoy. I am pretty sure it'll never happen, but just from my lifetime of experiences, I don't think I'd be crazy about moving into a place where people are crammed in so close to each other - UNLESS it was a senior living place exclusively, with NO grandkids or children moving in at a later date, and even with that stipulation, I don't think so. Cute little places though for the ones who want to extremely downsize to the maximum.
They complain about “we’re colonizers and evil!” Etc etc, but they are the epitome of imperialists. They move to the sound and try to make locals conform to them.
The other day I saw a gentleman who took one of your incredibox and built on a small screened in porch on the front of it. It went from the left side of the front door to the edge of the home to the bathroom corner. It also had a small storage room to the back of the porch. I took a photo of it but forgot to get any information about who posted it.. this would not only conceal the storage unit but also give them an extra sitting room in nice weather. It was so cute, wish I could find it again.
Fine, fine folks. So Love your ideas and enthusiasm. Imagine what could be accomplished with two or more of each of you. Coming in 2 weeks to look for our new home and site. And bringin a big bone for that sweet big boy.
Please talk to an arborist & the people in the community before planting fruit or nut bearing trees. They may be beautiful in the spring but a royal pain to mow under inflate summer & fall. Also there are cypress trees at the dog park we visit daily that shed leaf brackets. The 1st thing my Sheltie does when she gets to that park in any season is drop & roll. Well. One year she had those brackets all bunched and matted in her fur under her tail! Whoooeee, what a problem that was!
Just totally AMAZING to see all these GOD-INCIDENCES ( we know these are not a coincidence) the past two days. How encouraging for you all but also your fans who are watching too. You are being blessed as you bless others too. Stay encouraged! Greetings from Wisconsin 🙂🙏
God bless you Randy and Amanda and everyone at ITH. You are a true blessing to all ❤ Love what you are doing and some day I hope and pray that I can be part of one of your communities 😊
I love that you are creating community. I grew up in the country where we all loved, cared and supported each other. TN has been my home and I love it here!
If I'm correct, that's two days in a row you have had visitors who have a testimony about God and His grace! Funny, our daughter used to live in Kearney. In fact, she lived there 2 different times. The last time she was married and then December, 2021 her husband passed away from covid. She decided to move back to where we live. Also, Tim's granddaughter being named Hazel is interesting. My dear Aunt's name was Hazel. She always said she didn't think people named their daughters Hazel anymore. I know of two other little girls whose name is Hazel. Our daughter goes to Kearney frequently to visit friends and usually stays in Airbnb's. If you put tiny homes near Kearney, she might be able to stay in one.
Why should many of us be strapped to a bank for 30 years, plus all the home repairs? Nowadays, you can spend thousands buying someone else's nightmare and deal with fixing it up. Its a game thats been going for far too long, ripping off the consumer/tax payer. I just got another $20 increase in my "water" bill. I sure as hec ain't getting better quality water! Who needs a 2400 or larger home if its only for two people? Some of you out there need to watch these hoarder shows. Basically, you're paying to have "space" to heat/cool for all your junk. Randy and Team, I think you're becoming successful by changing people's minds of how to get by on less and really learn to enjoy life. We only get one shot at it!

When you plant the trees in a row down the houses, put a different fruit tree at every home so the neighbors can share.

Make sure to have some good code rules. It only takes a couple of people on a street to junk it up or make it miserable for everyone else. LOL.

I can’t wait to to get there and hear EVERYONE’S stories! It will take a lifetime. . .
