I loved Def Leppard, but when they stood by Rick Allen after his car crash, I gained a respect for them that continues to this day. Loyalty is so uncommon these days.

I said the same thing , even stood by Steve Clark , but they stood by Steve a lot even helping him though rehab more than once. Their song ,” White Lightning” from the Adrenalize album, is a tribute to Steve Clark (RIP Steve Clark) ,Joe said this in an interview.

No doubt, he has actually made me more of a fan. Rick stayed in his lane and made Def Leppard even better.
Rick Allen and Savage wrote many of their songs. That said he they are great assets .

This is an epic example of how a band evolves with its sound. They all realized there's no way we can 100% recreate what we did 40 years ago, yet they still sound just as amazing and it's all real!

He works really hard at it. Hours every single day. Others could do it too, but most don't. They care.
Joe is a very hard worker and his level of devotion to getting the lyrics and emotions through each performance is amazing enough. The fact that he hits the notes night after night is most impressive. Yes, he’s a half step down and lost some power over the years, but he can wail the big notes when he wants to!

I said, "hun, WE ARE OLD. All of our music and movie heroes are old as hell now."
This is an example of that. The GenX legacy is aging but we still have so much crazy talent.
The difference is that GenX didnt just lay down in their barcalounger like the generations before us. I've never seen people in their 50's and 60's as active as we are.
These guys sound so good for A. their age and B. live...actual music.

I'm 57, I 1st saw these guys when I was 15 on the pyromania tour, and it was such a KICK ASS SHOW! And they are still rocking it out in 2024!

I love watching Rick Allen on the drums - gets his arm ripped off by a nasty seatbelt in a Corvette and finds his way back to slam those drums again and creates ways for other people with missing limbs to play again. He’s so inspiring- AND HE’S OBVIOUSLY HAVING A SHIT LOAD OF FUN - LOOK AT THAT SMILE😜🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Def leppard in the 80's is only 2nd in sales to AC DC and band they first opened for in the US market. Would be the first and only time def leppard was an opening act

These guys get better with age. Sound as good now as the did back then. All the bands that have been around for years and are still on tour need to take lessons from Def Leppard. They kick ass!!!!!!

I still remember playing Pyromania on my record player in my room at 13 or 14 years old when it came out. I thought they were the greatest band ever, still do. Then I was like 17 when Hysteria came out and I could listen to that one in my 72 Nova's tape player with girls and listen to Women, even better lol.
I watched 73 first and a few others i cant believe how good def leppard sound.

This band is still one of the best ever . Rick does amazingly well with one arm . what can you say . wizards of hard pop/rock ...Joe sounds great even though he has lost some range and power he still makes it happen in a way that it sounds good live . ..They are really something to admire at their age as well... Only through real talent and clean living is what you hear in this video possible .

As we age our music taste tends to change , some bands stay as close to the heart decades after introduction,some you look back on and think what the hell was I thinking , some you continue to OD on . They all are building blocks to a modern day musical taste.Def Leppards High n Dry , Pyromania and Hysteria are absolutely a pivotal solid foundation to my musical taste , 3 classic albums that shaped my musical direction. This song is an absolute favourite and to be able to play and sound this damn good when I have more hair on my pillow than in my head is actually well beyond impressive. They have stood the test of time and kicked it in the arse

Luckily, Mutt Lange told him he better stop singing the way he did on High N Dry/Pyromania or pretty soon he won't have a voice left. Personally I thought that's when he sounded best however I understand why he needed to ease of the throttle.
