My wife was looking someone up on IMDB last night and she was like, "wow, he's old..." I said, "hun, WE ARE OLD. All of our music and movie heroes are old as hell now." This is an example of that. The GenX legacy is aging but we still have so much crazy talent. The difference is that GenX didnt just lay down in their barcalounger like the generations before us. I've never seen people in their 50's and 60's as active as we are. These guys sound so good for A. their age and B. live...actual music.
I wonder if younger fans realize how old this so g is AND HOW AHEAD OF THE TIME DEF LEPPARD WAS AT THE TIME....Not even KISS could touch these fellas...80's had the BEST ROCK!
I love watching Rick Allen on the drums - gets his arm ripped off by a nasty seatbelt in a Corvette and finds his way back to slam those drums again and creates ways for other people with missing limbs to play again. He’s so inspiring- AND HE’S OBVIOUSLY HAVING A SHIT LOAD OF FUN - LOOK AT THAT SMILE😜🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Rick smiling all the way through this - can't help but feel he's thinking that's the songs and the way he used to play pre-accident, and he still can, and he's absolutely fucking loving it. Respect, Thunder God.
I've BEEN SINGING AND PLAYING ALONG WITH Their songs since 1978, type in the search box : Michael Rehm, then scroll down till you see a "blue picture of the Bar" I was at, click on that....
I. love Def Leppard. Thank You for putting all of that love into my heart and soul. This old Angel needs that rhythm. War after War Still worth fighting for Every little thing an Angel stood for.
Joe is a very hard worker and his level of devotion to getting the lyrics and emotions through each performance is amazing enough. The fact that he hits the notes night after night is most impressive. Yes, he’s a half step down and lost some power over the years, but he can wail the big notes when he wants to!
This is an epic example of how a band evolves with its sound. They all realized there's no way we can 100% recreate what we did 40 years ago, yet they still sound just as amazing and it's all real!
Fan from day one....Bucket list night! Words can't describe how honored I was being there! Thank u SiriusXM🤘🏼 Def Leppard was awesome, as ALWAYS! Love u guy's 🫶🏼
I loved Def Leppard, but when they stood by Rick Allen after his car crash, I gained a respect for them that continues to this day. Loyalty is so uncommon these days.
I said the same thing , even stood by Steve Clark , but they stood by Steve a lot even helping him though rehab more than once. Their song ,” White Lightning” from the Adrenalize album, is a tribute to Steve Clark (RIP Steve Clark) ,Joe said this in an interview.
Def Leppard is the definition of Good old rock and roll!!!!! They are the mr miyagis of what rock and roll is all about and glad I have been listening to them since the days of high n dry. God bless these great musicians who keep giving to their fans!!!!!
I was there. It fucking rocked. Ive never had the chance to see them live. My sister took me for my birthday. Thank you sis. She has never seen Sammy Hagar so i got her tickets for her birthday.
It’s so great to see Rick Allen doing so well after his accident so many years ago. Solidly playing everything just perfectly! Best to these legends 🤘🏻
Amazing, they still got it! Seeing Rick play drums with a big smile on his face was golden. Phil too. It’s hard to believe that these guys sound the same since 1983. Perhaps better.
@WildTaper Glad you've enjoyed the live Leppard content for years! Truth be told, even at times I struggle to source the new shows and rare moments on stage! Lol
@@TheWhiteLightning Absolutely man. It’s hard being a Leppard fan nowdays. Lots of their bootleg days are over. You don’t find broadcasting & pro shot videos anymore. It’s all protected and kept on joes phone. 🙄😂
@WildTaper Very true. It's always a little fun, but bittersweet to think what they have in the vault.. Saw Leppard/Motley in Indianapolis on the 2022 Stadium Tour and my entire recording was comprised.. Still getting over it you could say!
These guys get better with age. Sound as good now as the did back then. All the bands that have been around for years and are still on tour need to take lessons from Def Leppard. They kick ass!!!!!!
As we age our music taste tends to change , some bands stay as close to the heart decades after introduction, some you look back on and think what the hell was I thinking , some you continue to OD on . They all are building blocks to a modern day musical taste.Def Leppards High n Dry , Pyromania and Hysteria are absolutely a pivotal solid foundation to my musical taste , 3 classic albums that shaped my musical direction. This song is an absolute favourite and to be able to play and sound this damn good when I have more hair on my pillow than in my head is actually well beyond impressive. They have stood the test of time and kicked it in the arse
This band is still one of the best ever . Rick does amazingly well with one arm . what can you say . wizards of hard pop/rock ...Joe sounds great even though he has lost some range and power he still makes it happen in a way that it sounds good live . ..They are really something to admire at their age as well... Only through real talent and clean living is what you hear in this video possible .
I still remember playing Pyromania on my record player in my room at 13 or 14 years old when it came out. I thought they were the greatest band ever, still do. Then I was like 17 when Hysteria came out and I could listen to that one in my 72 Nova's tape player with girls and listen to Women, even better lol.

That's Def Leppard....made me the musician & person I am today...let's not get carried away...but music is food for the soul ...
Man, nothing better than cruising downtown in my muscle car back in the 80s and cranking Def Lepperd. What happened to my life.
I hear ya, brother. Where indeed?? 👊🏻
I listed to the Pyromania cassette cruising so many times that I actually warped it and had to go buy another copy. It was $8.00 back then.
I wonder if younger fans realize how old this so g is AND HOW AHEAD OF THE TIME DEF LEPPARD WAS AT THE TIME....Not even KISS could touch these fellas...80's had the BEST ROCK!
Rick is a total beast. Listen to those fills, they are perfect.
Goddamn what a great song - even after all these years.
Def Leppard never disappoints Joe still is fantastic they all are amazing just like fine wine

41 years later they sound perfect, Def Leppard the best!
YES THEY ARE!!!
Was a fan in 1984, still a fan in 2024!
Yes!
Same here ❤
I've BEEN SINGING AND PLAYING ALONG WITH Their songs since 1978, type in the search box : Michael Rehm, then scroll down till you see a "blue picture of the Bar" I was at, click on that....
Me too!
One of the best songs on one of the best rock albums of all time
I'm 57, I 1st saw these guys when I was 15 on the pyromania tour, and it was such a KICK ASS SHOW! And they are still rocking it out in 2024!
You’re lucky 🍀 I’m the same age 57. I couldn’t make it. I was bummed.
TOP
I. love Def Leppard. Thank You for putting all of that love into my heart and soul. This old Angel needs that rhythm. War after War Still worth fighting for Every little thing an Angel stood for.
Oh mahalo......God
One of the best deep tracks on any album.
Joe Elliots voice is fantastic for his age.
hes good
He works really hard at it. Hours every single day. Others could do it too, but most don't. They care.
Joe is a very hard worker and his level of devotion to getting the lyrics and emotions through each performance is amazing enough. The fact that he hits the notes night after night is most impressive. Yes, he’s a half step down and lost some power over the years, but he can wail the big notes when he wants to!
@@tylerbensdad Thats cool. Thanks for sharing!
Never mind his age, his voice is good full stop. No need for autotune like a lot of modern performers.
ABSOLUFUKINLUTLY AMAZING BAND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!💀🤘💀PURE LEGENDS!!!!
Being blown away really by these recent videos of the old songs. Just wow.
Amazing seeing Joe go for those belts on this song.... and hitting them! So awesome!
This is an epic example of how a band evolves with its sound. They all realized there's no way we can 100% recreate what we did 40 years ago, yet they still sound just as amazing and it's all real!
Pyromania is Def Leppard’s best album.i must have wore out the cassette so many times in the eighties!!
Me too. I probably bought that cassette three times in five years
YES, I WORE MY TAPE OUT TO.
Best album Def Leppard recorded in my opinion: PYROMANIA
Agree. Went commercial and down hill after Hysteria.
2 cassettes - 1 vinyl record and finally 1 CD that still works!
This performance was mind blowing. Wow. Joe's voice was just hitting those high notes perfectly ! Wow.
Joe is really holding his own against age and his incredible voice that he has had years ago. I love early Leppard.
Off the charts! I was 12 when this came out! Instantly hooked ever since!
Vivian’s guitar sound is amazing
''Amazing!!!! 80's vibe...!!!!
Wow, they sound fantastic. Stellar. Excellent.
They sound really good. Pure, raw and live.

best album EVER
It amazes me just how good they still are after all these years. So many bands, particularly the singers, fall off. Not these guys.
One of the first cassettes I ever bought as skid with my own cash ! Lol ! STILL HOLDS UP TODAY !!!👊🏼👊🏼🎸🎸🎸🍻
