Great video Stephanie. Very interesting. You would make a great teacher!🙂❤
No wonder you and Jami get along so well. You both have such interesting and busy lives. Thank you for such an interesting video.
Great video.
I just love to hear you talk about the bee's I love learning about them, thank you Stephanie ❤️ ♥️ 🐝🐝
I love how you humbly embrace all of your talents and hobbies! 😊😊
I love hearing everything that you have to teach us your very good teacher and I can understand everything you say and I love learning thank you so much❤
I think it is very interesting how Stephanie explain and doing for her Bee’s
Bees 🐝 are so important for ppl! Thanks Stephanie 🎉 be careful
I want to tell you about this lady who keeps about 8 hives at Cog Hill Farm. She was there doing her check on the hives and it was so interesting!!! She showed what a queen cell looks like on the frames. She took those with her to start new hives. She puts a dryer sheet on the of the hive to get rid of mites. She writes down on the top about what is going on with the hives. I hope you don’t get upset about me telling you this, I just thought you would enjoy watching this woman work. Please double check behind me, I know it’s a dryer sheet but just check that. I remember how the sheet looked like they were doing a great job!!! Looking forward to meeting your new bees 🐝 ❤❤❤
Correction.. She put a Non-Scented Swiffer cloth for mites.
The mites get stuck in fiber, but doesn't bother the bees
Hi Steph👋
You are Mrs Perfection! I will never have hives myself. But I love ❤️ learning. What diff styles you n PawPaw have!
He makes do, improvises, uses what he has. His sugar water dispenser is a tin pie plate!
And, thats ok. And he gets the job done. You are text book perfection. From your garden to baking, to everything you do. G d bless 🙌 you! Even how your hives are set up is perfect n pretty! Lol. I love ❤️ watching you work, all right in knowing I'll never reach your level. And that's ok too.
I love ❤️ learning n you're a wonderful instructor.
One day I hope you video honey extraction. I'd love ❤️ to see how it's done.
Thx 💙 for sharing.
Have a blessed 🙌 day.
Stay safe n well.
❤n 🙏s always.
Elly 🇨🇦
I saw that I think the swiffer sheets catch ( swiffer sheets not Dryer sheets )the mites or other insects and it’s non- fragranced also ! Yes it’s amazing and I loved how detailed she was with her showing us and explaining how snd why she did everything and Brooke is learning from the lady who keeps her bee hives at Cog Hill ! God bless 🙏🙋🏻
I saw that video on Cog Hill ~ so fascinating watching the bees 🐝
Steph another interesting video. We had honeybees in the inside of our barn the outside wall. They would be swarming. You had to be careful working around them or you'd get stung. We finally had a fella who worked on our well was interested in them so we let him come collect them and rehomed at his place. They had all kinds of honeycombs in that wall. Great job Steph.
Steph be careful and don’t get stung again by the bees! You ad PawPaw love the bees 🐝
I love watching you and Pawpaw working your bees and learning about them 🐝🐝🐝
My late brother in law of 40 years was a beekeeper. He passed away about 2 1/2 years ago and I have about 1/4 cup of his honey left. We all miss his local honey! On another note, I work in the delivery service and delivered my first hive of very active honey bees in my personal car (suv). There were about two out on each side (4 total), they were not interested in leaving the hive, so I just covered them with a large flannel shirt I had in the back. They traveled fine with no incidents. Needless to say, I aired my car and shirt out overnight in the garage. Oh, I had lots and lots of birds too, mostly chickens. It was loud and the aroma was interesting. Lol.
Oh my!
Never give up on your BEES they r disappearing & people don’t know why that’s very alarming we r losing a lot of Gods creations love your videos u & Buddy👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸+ Elora
Plus the hundreds of types of native bees, butterflies and pollinators in general
Norma here. You have so much knowledge about so many different subjects and I love the way you explain everything you’re doing.
My uncle was a beekeeper, but my fear of bees kept me from learning anything about them. Between you and Paw Paw, I’ve learned so much. It’s so funny to see how different you two do things, but get the same results.
Stef you are so knowledgeable about all your bees. I've heard alot from Pawpaw and now even with you. Thankyou for sharing this, you are one of the greatest.
Good morning beautiful lady.
It's tomorrow ,looking foreward to watching you ,and papa doing a great job .☘️💚👋
I love your videos, very educational. You are brave to work around your bees after your recent attack. I hope you video when you harvest the honey.
Good morning Denman family you all give us lots of good info plus fun an laughter! Thanks for being such good video producers !
My mom uses simple syrup for ice tea.🧡💜🧡
Yellow jackets killed dear friend of mine. Ginseng hunting and slid over a ɓank and was stung over 200 times. Just be safe, u're a good person.
Oh no how sad!
Stephanie, you have explained everything so well, very interesting information, thanks for sharing. ❤🐝🐝
Good morning Buddy, Steph 😊 the rain has been falling and flooding so many places 🐝 🙃 we will be wanting it , come July, August and September Inbrace it now .🌺🐝. Glad to hear your feeling better Steph from your incident🐝 😊 have a great day everyone !!🌺🐝🐝
Good afternoon Steph, I love watching you because you’re so knowledgeable about everything. I am highly allergic to bees so I stay away from them as much as possible and carry an EpiPen with me at all times. Please be safe God bless you❤️❤️❤️
Learning so much about bees it’s pretty neat about beehive boxes on what is all involved, I’ll be waiting for the new bees ❤
Lots of good information..I'm learning a lot about bees.
🐝 🍯 I find it very interesting ~ I watched another channel inspecting their hives. So much work involved. You mentioned honey at the grocery stores being from another country. I never knew that until I went to BJ’s (Costco type store) … on the top of the lid it listed about 3 different countries that it could be from…. 😮 I thought that it was dumb…why would I buy it. I’m trying to find a local beekeeper to buy honey from. The price is justified knowing the work involved. Thanks 🌻 for educating us. Looking forward for your next video ~ no matter what the subject is.
Stephanie you are so brave! I could never go anywhere near a bee 🐝 hive. I’m so thankful there are brave souls like yourself to help bees not only survive but thrive. ❤🙏
Enjoyed the education!
Good Morning Stephanie ! 😊❤😊
Hummingbird food too
There is no comparison to local honey. Not to mention the health benefits you get from honey from local hives. It is all that buy. There is one bee keeper in my city that I buy my honey. I guess I am honey snob. 😂 I can only imagine honey from bees in your own backyard! Great beekeeping lesson, Steph. 🐝🍯
A well done video with complete, concise information. Kudos!
Love learning from you at my age which is 74..
Another great video
I know that Pawpaw is very excited to go with you to get more 🐝 🐝 🐝 bees
I love learning from you ❤❤❤😂😂
Good morning Stephanie ☕️ Sending you some sunshine from California ☀️ So exciting for your bees 🐝
Great job setting up your hive. Hope all goes well with your new bees. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
🤠❤🌵good mornin` steph 🐝🐝🐝🌻🌼🍺🍻
Hey Steph, you are a women of many talents! You and Buddy make a great team. I love watching the bee hive info. Good to know. I tell you, if there was ever an emergency situation you guys will be set!! Do you folks have a safe house of any sort?? I love watching all the stuff you do and your kids enjoy your creations too!! 😊❤😊❤😊
Steph, the flat part of the jar under the ring is called a jar tip. My Mama used those every year for gardening.
Bees are interesting critters - they sort of demand respect 😆 but usually they keep to themselves … I used to rescue mine from the neighbors pool cover - now I’ve rescued wild ones from the birdbath every so often!
Good afternoon Stephanie, Buddy and family 🌻🐝🍯🌞🐝Really enjoy learning from you and PawPaw on the bees, hives, honey production As I don't know much about them so it's great learning ! 🍯🐝🐝thank you for sharing 🥰🌹🐝🍯🌻
Love it
I always enjoy your videos. I love learning about bees. Its like a "world" within a world!
You are so easy to listen too.
Have you ever been a teacher?
No, that was my original college plan, was to be an English teacher, but life happened.
@The Denman Homestead I understand that. I was going to be English teacher too. Maybe it's a kindred spirit I feel about you and your family. Life does happen. It happened to me too.
Love watching the bees.
So fascinating! Thank you for both the education and the entertainment. Good luck.😘
Good Morning Stephanie ❤
Never knew anything about bee keeping, so interesting. looking foreword to the next step in this process.
I do have concerns for you about moving the established hive into a new one. Hope Buddys around when you do it.
Stephanie loved this video I never really knew about bees till I started watching you and pawpaw. It is so very interesting. I love honey
Bees are hard your so patient 🌻🦆🐝❤️🐈⬛🐮🐮🦚🐄🐓🐓
After noon Stephanie love your and Buddy's channel it's,so educational to me. I don't post much, but I want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. I know it's early keep up the great videos and prayers for your family and have a blessed day
Thank you!
You are amazing Stephanie ❤
Stephanie this video was very informative. Thanks
Excellent presentation.
I love bee video's ❤
Afternoon Stephanie another great informative video. Love the bees videos that you and pawpaw do. Wish more people kept bees and more people knew how important they were to our environment. So looking forward to the next video of you and pawpaw getting your nuke. Be interesting to see how they establish. My nephew has ecoflow hives as well as ones like yours. I prefer the ones like yours where you collect the honey whereas the ecoflow you just turn the tap at the front at out comes the honey. Have a safe trip getting the nuke with pawpaw. Glad you didn’t get stung and they were kinder to you. Have a great day. Take care and God Bless. 💕🙏🧑🌾🐝
Good morning 🌞❣
Steph we will pray that u don’t make them mad again ur 1 brave girl 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
Another interesting video. Thank you. 😊
Good mornin Steph. Love you videos.
Stephanie, I'm curious to know how you go about repairing the bee box on the left; especially since you said you don't normally disturb the bottom two boxes. I hope you let us all see how this is done. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. All the best ❣️❣️❣️
That will be such an undertaking. We have to take everything out and put them into a new box. It's going to be a mess!
Very interesting video Stephanie. You are so correct on expense of Honey. I get local honey mostly, but love Tupelo 💕. Farmers Market only never buy from grocery store.
Clean and ready - anxious for tomorrow.
Thank you again for taking us along.
You're very good at explaining things Steph.
I pay $8.50AU for 500grams of Australian honey from the supermarket. I sometimes buy proper farm honey, I know local is best, but having moved in January, I haven't found one yet.
Good morning Stephanie… awesome video❤
Good morning from Kentucky.
You guys do a wonderful job with the beginning of your videos. The recording/photography it beautifully done.
My grandpa had 20 hives when I was young. I watched him take the honey out as I love honey. I never watch the entire process of that it takes to have honey. Thank you for sharing what all it takes to be a bee keeper.
Hello from Indiana, Stephanie and Bubby are both so enterresting. I learn something new all the time.
Thank you Stephanie for all your work with your bees. I am fascinated by some of the loner bees or confused scouts that havent gone home in time, and find shelter in my squash blooms over night.
Hi from Long Island,NY!!! Love your videos 😊
Interesting.... Never seen a feeder or mite protector. ✌️👌
I love the information about bees that I get from you and PawPaw. What a wealth of information! 💖💖💖
I love this ! So fascinating ! 🐝🩷🐝
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us. You are an amazing woman. Happy Mother's Day. God Bless and l love yall 💕💕💕
Morning Steph
The rain sounds wonderful 😊😊😊❤❤
Good morning Stephanie
I find you very interesting.
Hey Lorraine! Thanks so much!
This is a great video, steph. I love all the things you do so much. I used to garden a really lot. So it’s great to see all the things that you do with your garden 🐝 bees and veggies 😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Steph,
I’m unsure about how many queens you actually have , do you only need 1 for Sally of them, or 1 queen per stack
Very interesting. Stepf how much honey do you get from those two boxes? I love hiw you and Paw Paw share many intetests. ❤
One medium (box)super will yield about 50-60lbs of honey
Hi 👋 Stephanie 🎉❤
How interesting. Bees have always interested me but I think the whole process of hives intimidates me.
Good morning
Very interesting video,well done x🇬🇧
we here in colorado springs we are having a 10year storm
Oh my! I just saw there's a winter storm warning! That's crazy!
I've always done my simple syrup in a microwavable mixing bowl to dissolve the sugar. We use it to sweeten our tea also. Everyoneoves my tea and wants to know why it tastes so good. Melt your sugar first. We use it for hummingbirds too.
As usual, very informative video ! I have a whole new appreciation of bees !! I have a couple of nieces ages 13 and 15 that started a small hive last year and sold some of their honey to family !! WOW !! Absolutely amazing !! I savored my jar . 😂
Organic fresh honey holds no comparison to nonorganic (cheaper “stuff”) grocery store brands .
I for one could never foresee myself being a beekeeper but totally admire those of you who do !! I hope your bees/hives do very well for you and Pawpaw !!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Be safe my dear one !!
I also wanted to ask you if you had a preference as to which brand of canning lids you found that worked best for you in sealing your canned goods ?
Thanks in advanced !!
I find that ball does a really good job. And it makes sense. They have been around a long time!
Off subject, but do you have a homemade bread loaf video?
No video yet but I can make one!
@@thedenmanhomestead thank you so much. I watch pawpaw, I ended up buying a Black&Decker oven like his, to make biscuits, I made cobblers in a cast iron skillet, now I want to try a loaf of bread in a cast iron loaf pan.
Hi so happy to see you
I just wanted you to know I just watched a video where a lot of mushrooms especially in your yard are toxic to your animals. Im so happy you're okay from all those bee stings 💗
Good morning from Mississippi
Hi Coco.
So sorry you were stung
Thanks for this very interesting video. I really enjoyed it and learnt some❤
love the video
Great informative video Steph ! I’d be afraid of cracking , chipping or breaking my jar hammering on top while making the holes in the lid , but you’ve done it before snd know it works for you! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻
I would like to see how to remove the honey. Thank you I really am enjoying your videos.
Because overcast weather is good napping weather, they just want to nap.. lol
Totally agree!
When your bees moved into their new hive, did they have a house swarming party?
