Even at nearly 61 years old, im still loving my new, indie, alternative rock. Wolf Alice are a freaking amazing band.

Did you pick up on the DuFay influences as well? Hard to detect, I know, but I have quite an ear and am surprised cuz I thought you might have known him?
Theo's bass intro is the best start to a track I've heard in memory. Really took me off guard. Reminds me of early grunge - Nirvana's Bleach album - pure attitude. Wish they would release this a live album
The riff at the start is giving me classic Smashing Pumpkins vibes, and that is a very good thing.

There's a lot of anger and hurt because of the negative impact covid has had on people's lives and livelihood. It's ok to be pissed of and angry about it. I'm sure they not aiming this at me, just the comment lit there passion and felt they needed to say something. I am privileged to live were I do and have what a have.

My gawd, just discovered Wolf Alice a few days ago (better late than never) and, Can’t. Stop. Listening. To. Them. A roller coaster of dancing, crying and just plain lovin’ this group. Looking forward to catching them on the road when they head out. Amazeballs!
All 3 of their albums nominated for the Mercury Prize (Best album of the year and a highly rated award) and one of them winning. One of the best bands to come out of the UK in the last 10 years, superb live as witnessed above, enjoy!
What’s incredible, and wild is watching Ellie and Joff’s early stuff and the radical progression to the Wolf Alice today.
The early stuff is so raw but had that spark.
Let’s face it, Ellie is the complete package, musically gifted, amazing range & harmonies and a lovely woman to front the group. Theo is a fabulous showman & player and Joel has mad percussive skills and backing vocals.
I believe, contrary to comments I’ve read from the band, there are many more incredible albums and music ahead of them!
Finally 90s vibe in modern music. Breath of fucking fresh air. 🤘🏼

The stacked vocals in that chorus are so lush and beautiful. A gorgeous contrast to the brutality of the verses.

Not gonna lie, I discovered WA a few days ago because I'm shallow: I clicked on a video because it has a pretty girl singing in the thumbnail. I'm actually impressed by their music, even if it's not the type of music I normally listen to. Great stuff!

This version is just outstanding. Singing the guitar solo line--simple, but unexpected, and very effective departure from the studio version. Every artistic decision they make works.
I was driving back home from a library event in Tallahassee, stopping to tour my old digs in Gainesville, and I had the local rock station on and this song started playing. I was captivated by it, but all the radio station told me was the band's name "Wolf Alice," so when I got home I checked my library's catalog for any albums we owned. We had like only their first album on CD, so I had to go digging and found this song was what I'd heard on the radio.
This is such a great sound, much like the alt rock music of my college days (which would explain why it was playing in Gainesville). Why didn't anybody tell me about them until this year?!

Awesome! These kids are the best rock band of this era! This is such a good album. I thought "Visions of a Life" was the best, but this has push the envelope even further.
