I liked when you said, "Get creative with it." When I dedicate time for stretching, I like to move into a position to hold for a while, and then just modify my position in some way that I haven't really thought of before. Usually it's adding a twist, or a slight change of a foot position, or anything that brings me to feel something that I wasn't feeling before. More than anything my body usually rewards me with feelings of gratitude. (Yeah, I know that sounds a bit weird, but it's the best word I can think of.)
Speaking of holding a static stretch for an extended period of time what do you think of yin yoga? I can hold a stretch for five minutes, but I feel much better holding most stretches for three minutes although there some I can hold for my entire life . Thanks, Coach. 🌹
Depends on the position really! Some are really nice to hold for longer periods if you’re well used to it! Main thing is that you do strength exercises so you’re not just focusing on one area becoming loose
Hi i like your channel very much and followed you for 2 years now. I understand why your modells look great. But talking of beginners and having fit people as example will not motivate beginners. Plz use a real beginner and showcase the real trouble in starting. Some beginners can't get down to the floor to beginn.

My bad! Well I'm sure your respective families are lovely as well! ❤
Love how colour coordinated you all are! The studio seems great, too. Nice to see that the videos keep improving, on all levels. 🎉
Thanks so much! 😊
Fantastic content as always , thank you 👍🏻
Great practical information, as always Tom. 🙏
Thanks so much!!
I find the 20 seconds wait for static stretches to be important to ensure there is a change to the soft tissue.

In some of the shots with Tom and JP, Tom looks like he has shrunk by 30%. Some interesting camera magic going on!
Haha I was thinking the exact same thing!! He’s not that much taller than me surely 🤣
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Without hurting myself. Aye, there's the rub
Well you can if you like 😂😂 wouldn’t advice chasing the pain tho!
