    I’m lovin it, too! Like you say there r soooo many talented ladies w channels, it can be overwhelming for a gal like me. I’ve learned a lot from so many but I’m gonna stick w you for awhile for continuity and consistency (and because your methods are child friendly meaning even I can do it!). And I respect how you credit the other crafters who you’ve learned from. I’ll be happy to show you some flowers that I make that r strictly from you’re tutorials, and maybe a few of that I’ve created of the top of my head. But I’m dying to get into my linen closet to get my hands on some cotton sheets and shower curtains, cuz I’d like to work w cotton. So far it’s been other lighter fabrics which can be limiting. I found a chest full of my mother in laws curtains! Jackpot, mostly light burlap looking: some pseudo lace looking;;;; great to work w for my first attempts. Want to do more using your hair pin method.

      Awesome! Yes please do share. I encourage you to share your pretties in my facebook group. "Crafty Devotion Boutique" I need to do better at crediting others, I plan to put a list together. The possibilities are endless and I am glad I encouraged you to make use of items in your closet. The lighter fabrics you mentioned do well fro my hairpin method. I am looking forward to seeing your flowers.

    How do you attach them to your garment?

    • @CraftyDevotion
      @CraftyDevotion  3 місяці тому

      You can sew them on. Or leave a long strip to tie on. Then you can hand wash as needed.

    Hi...you said you need supplies.. what do you need?
    Also are you selling the flowers you made?
    I'm in California.. where are you?

    • @CraftyDevotion
      @CraftyDevotion  4 роки тому +1

      I am in Idaho.
      You are so kind, I no longer need supplies. This video is about 4 years old. I now run my own Etsy shop and sell my designs. I sell everything I design.
      For these type of flowers about $5 each. If you wish to order from my shop click the link and I can create an invoice there for you. I carry handmade, craft supplies and vintage. Craftydevotion.etsy.com

    I have been told that it takes 4 fat quarters to have a total of 1 yard. Most fat quarters will be at a higher cost than a 1 yard of fabric, because of the time it takes to do the cutting into fat quarters.

    • @CraftyDevotion
      @CraftyDevotion  6 років тому

      Yes, I think the quarter must come from 1/4 yard. Sometimes yardage is wider. I look at the with of the yardage when purchasing. But most fabric stores will not charge extra for getting 1/4 yard.
