Hello my name is Diana I just subbed to your beautiful channel. I cannot believe I never saw any of your vids before. Although I have not recorded vids for quite awhile, I do enjoy crafting very much and I really love creating flowers. Tfs. Diana
+Georgina Andreou. Thank You. I put that on the back burner I didn't think I had much interest. I think I will add it to my wedding dress ideas section.
I love your flowers and would like to apply them to plain front shirts or dresses. Can your sewn ( thread wrapped) flowers be laundered with the item I apply it to? What would you use to keep the edges from completely fray in the wash? Thanks for your time to reply. Thank you for sharing your talents with me.
Hi, I am glad you are inspired by my flowers. I would not use the fabric in this video. I would use the, chiffon, organza, tulle. I have videos showing all those fabrics. To seal lightly use flame as shown in my videos. Some fabrics like tulle or tshirt fabric do not fray if used. I will get you a link to my flower playlist. Fyi test all fabrics be safe.
I say good on pour quality fabric, because it has made beautiful flowers, thank you for sharing Liz you are so kind. Not sure if I asked you before but can you give us the name of the glue gun,as it is so much better than mine.
Hi, the actual curtain I used was dollar tree. I used this as an example to encourage using what you have on hand. From old sheer curtains, sheer blouse. Etc. See my other tutorials using various fabrics.
I got some lace tablecloths at the thrift store and cut them into strips n tried to make flowers with it...what a disaster lol. I'm having the hardest time finding the right materials and getting this right!

Hi, begin with a sheer curtain fabric. Or the thin lining of a jacket. You may send me photos for tips on Facebook group.
When you layer what are the usual length you use?
It varies but about 1/2"
