As a former NYC Tour sight seen guide an owner of a Tour Co. I decided long time ago not to do NYC Gospel Church because visitors made kind of disrespect in The House of God, I know that is a good source of income but anyway there are a lot of tour guides and companies they keep doing this kind of Sunday "business". It is a matter of ethics.
That's a bit much.It amost becomes a show instead of worship.I guess I don't understand why they want to visit that church.

my mother went to saint Paul's Baptist back in the 1950s when Rev Booker from Newport News was pastor. I believe we still have photos from that period

I saw the gold cross Haile sellassie gave them on the pulpit behind the paster in the 1950s how amazing I want to go and see the gold cross
The reporter said the church officials said the tourist are stingy,in The eyes of god all are equal the tourist are better off going where they are accepted.
Amen. They shouldn't be expecting money from the tourist.
tourism in church should be banned if its for pure entertainment value. it depends on the pastor of the house and how she or he wants to purpose the service.

The pastor and members almost come across arrogant about the tourist coming. I would be thankful that so many find the church an attraction!!
Well I think it would have been better if there were no tourists. I would rather pray in peace and concentrate spiritually than have others (including non believers) watch me perform for God.
What's the difference between the parishioners and the tourist ?? The tourist sit there like everybody else. Big deal. The church should just allow members in only?
