@@Dnevnikof . . So, with the Beatles done and dusted, what do YOU want to hear? Nothing but boring music from every singer-songwriter crying out his pain for everyone who doesn't care? I've played in covers bands for 50 years, on and off, as well as original bands and Blues bands. I can tell you categorically that the punters prefer to hear covers to originals any day. Catering to an audience's tastes IS a job. It's kept a roof over my head for the past 25 years of being a full-time professional guitarist. @paulwagner6439 is absolutely right, It is a lot of work . . . if you wanna do it right. The most fun I had was playing in a 60s revival band, playing lots of Beatles, Manfred Mann, Hollies, Steppenwolf, The Youngbloods, and heaps more. We'd throw in some obscure 60s lost classics because we loved to see the light bulb come on over someone's head when we played their personal favourite. Then there was the ZZ Top covers band that I fronted. We didn't do the fake beard thing, but we sure did sound like 'em!
@@DnevnikofHonestly, whilst they’ll never be as good as the actual Beatles themselves (I feel like everyone probably knows this) I honestly don’t see the problem with tribute bands as a whole especially since they give a lot of younger generations a reimagining of what it was like to see bands like this perform way before we were born. Though in my opinion, I’d say the Bootleg Beatles are one of the best tribute bands out there.
Great job, guys. Not to take away from any tribute groups, but I played drums for thirty years in cover bands. The last one I was in for fourteen years, during which I did most of the vocal work, we billed as a "variety" band, playing songs from the 1920's to the 1990's (when I left the band to spend more time with the family). That meant we'd do "Five Foot-Two" and follow it with Huey Lewis and the News; then Garth Brooks and maybe then "Blue Danube Waltz" or "Never on Sunday" for the cha-cha set. And we must have done credible jobs on most if not all, because the clubs kept having us back. Stack that up against perfecting the sound of one group. We weren't perfect, but we learned an awful lot.
Epic performance. I saw the original Bootlegs at the LSE in London back in the late 1970's! They formed as a band after performing in a West End London musical tribute to the band. I was totally blown away then, and I am now. BTW: Billy Shears was good tonight 😀. (RIP Paul, 1967}

Absolutely superb performance. I have seen you six or seven times over the last twenty years, in addition, several of the other "rival" Beatle tributes too. What strikes me is how hard you all work, no messing about, straight into it. Great to have a proper left handed Paul with his Hofner violin bass, Many thanks and good luck.

My Sister saw the Beatles Live in 1963 at the ABC Ardwick in Manchester. When she got home she said the screaming drowned the band out. On that basis Bootleg Beatles are probably better than the Beatles in a Live context. Fantastic tribute that is loud and clear.
Love how you guys totally get into it. You guys, even if only for an hour or so, really are "The Beatles." I am a child of the Sixties, remember seeing the boys on Ed Sullivan Show on that fateful evening in 1964, and I grew up listening to the Beatles. Thanks for keeping the dream and my youth alive. Your guys' performance was phenomenal. Peace from the OC, California, USA!
Can't make my mind up, which is the better tribute of two fantastic bands in the bootleg beatles and the fab four !! Both do the beatles justice in their portrayal of the band, vocals are good , instrumentation is spot on and the presentation by both bands is brilliant, and watching these two fine acts takes me back to when I was around 7 or 8, and just getting into music , great days, never to be replicated !! We have so much to say thank you to the original fab four for providing so much great music !!!
I know this video isn't from the band themself, but thank you to the uploader for providing such a high quality video of this concert. The Bootlegs are so energised throughout the entire concert, and it's just a joy to watch. I first watched this a couple weeks ago as inspiration for my Beatles tribute band which started around that time, and since then I've come back to this video purely for the nuances in this concert. My particular favourite would be the 'we-ell you know' and 'bom-shu-we-do-wop' harmonies from Revolution 1 that they put in their cover of Revolution! They sound so alike The Beatles, but the minor differences in how they sing / play are so charming and I find myself coming back to this video regularly purely for the memories of when it was first sent to me!
I'm a huge Fab Four fan, but I just can't get shed of these blokes. These Bootleg Beatles. Without a doubt they don't have to hang their head to nobody. They just GROW on ya yer know. The John in this group is the best after Adam Hastings.
Tyson Kelly as "John" is always one of my favorites. I've seen him with other Beatles tribute bands. I guess these guys just float around between the various Beatles tribute bands?
The Eternal Beatles live at The Brighton Centre It’s 1961 In Hamburg, With Paul, George, John and the first beatle Drummer Pete Best, their on there way of their first debut at The Cavern Club. Their first Beatles song is “ain’t she sweet” “cry for a shadow” and “my Bonnie” with Pete Best on drums.
Saw these recently at a festival. Was rubbing my eyes all the way through cos I was in the sweet spot in the crowd where it looked EXACTLY like I was watching the fkin. Beatles! Amazing. The Faux McCartney is a legend, talking to the crowd etc like Macca used to...AND HE's LEFT HANDED which is insane!!!!so much attention to detail
I've heard many Beatle impersonator who are very good, but these guys are by far the best. I like how these guys play a set list with songs most Beatlemania groups don't include. Songs for the most serous of Beatles fans. Outstanding!
Saw them at the Bridgewater hall in Manchester about 10 or more years ago the wife organised everything tickets even getting me the night off work great night fab band love the Beatles lucky enough to sing i saw her standing there at the cavern backed by the Beatles tribute from Benidorm amazing afternoon that was 😊😊😊 🎸🎸🎸🥁
Awesome, would be interesting to see Sir Paul do a guest appearance on a couple of their performances. Of course, he doesn't have the young voice anymore but would still be cool.
These guys certainly have done their homework all the way down to the mannerisms, look and voices. It's like seeing them live all over again for the first time. Along with all the energies they produce. The closest i have seen in a reproduction band and there are a few out there that come close but this one is best by far. Keep on Rockin'. 🎸🎸🎸🥁🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Slightly geeky, this, but gotta say I'm impressed with 'John's attention to detail when it comes to playing the open D chord :-) Cos John learned the banjo first he carried over some of his chord fingering from that, and you can see here 'he' is playing the D chord with his little finger fretting the Fsharp on the D string. I think he's the only guitarist I've ever seen who plays that chord like that (at least as a rhythm part). Very cool hes doing that.
There is a lot of critique here in these comments about who was better than who! Well I am soon 78, The Beatles were big influence on me in the 60s, I started drumming because of them, I think they nailed it they compared extremely well to the originals, even the Liverpool dialect! I enjoyed this concert very much indeed. I play in a hobby band we play some Beatles songs no where near this standard but fun to play! I later found out that I have the same birthday as Ringo but 4 years younger, only he looks 20 years younger than me!
The BackBeat Beatles (Worldwide Beatles Tribute) Live at Top Ten Club, Hamburg (1961) This was The Beatles first live concert at the Top Ten Club in Hamburg, in 1960 there was never any Live Beatles concerts in Hamburg, but luckily, The BackBeat Beatles have recorded their first live concert.
It was nice of the electric pianist to fill in the way that he did ...... he was so modest, you hardly even knew that he was there, even he was playing the riffs/solos.

I thought I was going to see another Beatle yea-yea band, but these guys are Really Good! They've certainly put in the work. 😊👏🏻🥂
Bravo les Beatles🙏🙏😀 you are the best🤪I feel 16 years old again🤘🤘The Beatles never die and will be in our heart forever❤️❤️
Ce soir, j'ai rajeuni de 60 ans ! MERCI !
These guys are FAB!!
Seen them 8 times ..says it all
Seen them 3 times in Sheffield, always enjoyed their performances.
Going to see them next Saturday 13th looking forward to it even more now.
Have heard quite a few tribute Beatles bands ,these guys are really good ,Margaret from Scotland x
Just booked my tickets!! I’ll be turning 18 just before I see them this is the biggest dream of mine!!!
The switch from black and white to colour is subtle
Going to see them again this year for the umpteenth time....absolutely magic show
Remarkable! Would love to see them.
Seeing them tomorrow at the Royal Albert Hall. Can’t wait.
Wonderful! What a gift to watch !
The John in this group is the best after Adam Hastings.
they are fucking amazing!
i still remember all their songs so nice really lovevit❤
Tyson Kelly as "John" is always one of my favorites. I've seen him with other Beatles tribute bands. I guess these guys just float around between the various Beatles tribute bands?
The Eternal Beatles live at The Brighton Centre
It’s 1961 In Hamburg, With Paul, George, John and the first beatle Drummer Pete Best, their on there way of their first debut at The Cavern Club.
Their first Beatles song is “ain’t she sweet” “cry for a shadow” and “my Bonnie” with Pete Best on drums.
Superb Guys. Awesome.
Saw these recently at a festival. Was rubbing my eyes all the way through cos I was in the sweet spot in the crowd where it looked EXACTLY like I was watching the fkin. Beatles! Amazing. The Faux McCartney is a legend, talking to the crowd etc like Macca used to...AND HE's LEFT HANDED which is insane!!!!so much attention to detail
very cool, Lads... thanks !!
I've heard many Beatle impersonator who are very good, but these guys are by far the best. I like how these guys play a set list with songs most Beatlemania groups don't include. Songs for the most serous of Beatles fans. Outstanding!
These guys are great and one of the more musically sophisticated Beatles tribute bands.
I really enjoyed the performance. Thank you for uploading the video.❤❤❤
Absolutely brilliant. Well done !!
These guys are really good.
Saw them at the Bridgewater hall in Manchester about 10 or more years ago the wife organised everything tickets even getting me the night off work great night fab band love the Beatles lucky enough to sing i saw her standing there at the cavern backed by the Beatles tribute from Benidorm amazing afternoon that was 😊😊😊 🎸🎸🎸🥁
Yeah you nailed it boys……..cheers…John
Awesome, would be interesting to see Sir Paul do a guest appearance on a couple of their performances. Of course, he doesn't have the young voice anymore but would still be cool.
These guys certainly have done their homework all the way down to the mannerisms, look and voices. It's like seeing them live all over again for the first time. Along with all the energies they produce. The closest i have seen in a reproduction band and there are a few out there that come close but this one is best by far. Keep on Rockin'. 🎸🎸🎸🥁🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Absolutely amazing!
Rockin and Punky. Very Good! Thanks!
Slightly geeky, this, but gotta say I'm impressed with 'John's attention to detail when it comes to playing the open D chord :-)
Cos John learned the banjo first he carried over some of his chord fingering from that, and you can see here 'he' is playing the D chord with his little finger fretting the Fsharp on the D string. I think he's the only guitarist I've ever seen who plays that chord like that (at least as a rhythm part). Very cool hes doing that.
its so nice to hear all thisnicevsingingvoicesso deadlynreally love2 it❤
Saw them in Hong Kong brilliant please come back soon
you guys are the best as a group that I know of.
incroyable super spectacle hier à annecy! merci bootleg beatles
I watched them do "I am the walrus" live with Oasis at earls court in the 90s . Epic ❤
Impecable sound!!!
The Best Ringo i've ever seen
The BackBeat Beatles
(Worldwide Beatles Tribute)
Live at Top Ten Club, Hamburg (1961)
This was The Beatles first live concert at the Top Ten Club in Hamburg, in 1960 there was never any Live Beatles concerts in Hamburg, but luckily, The BackBeat Beatles have recorded their first live concert.
If you’re a left-handed male bass player, there’ll always be work for you in a Beatles tribute band somewhere.
They are fantastic ❤
Info beatle, pensé que habian desaparecido tu canal para siempre, es bueno tenerte de vuelta 👍
These guys are great! Evenly more melodic vocally than the originals!
It was nice of the electric pianist to fill in the way that he did ...... he was so modest, you hardly even knew that he was there, even he was playing the riffs/solos.
I keep a list of the best tribute bands of Elvis, Beatles, Little Richard etc. Rain, Bestbeat & The Fab Four are at the top for the Beatles. These guys are pretty good.
Going to see these 23rd April in Canterbury..never seen them but I'm sure looking forward to it
