A rioter said that if poppy ever got picked, she would be nerfed immediately, such a broken champ late game. You never know, Riot might be in a nerf happy mood D:
he was brought into play because all of the early junglers that just dominated the game got nurfed. allowing late game strats like nasus be a good pick in the LCS
Imo, League has always been at its most entertaining when people knew less about what was going on and people could just go crazy with their picks. I remember when Galio and Akali were picked in the SSB vs SSW semifinals and it felt like the most insane thing just happened. Happened again in the ROX series with Miss Fortune support and the C9 2018 worlds run where they pulled out shit like Zilean and Singed.
(TSM fanboy here no hate please) Zionspartan carried, but he played well. Dyrus should have focussed more on the minions when the inhib tower was still up. Tsm was to scared to teamfight while they should have, and shouldn't always peel of the baron, they could have gotten it and then fight after. Overall well played from DIG and TSM. DIG, was kinda 1 trick win, but they pulled it off so they indeed deserve to win :(
brent vervloesem DIG played to zionspartans strength perfectly, they knew how strong nasus is at lategame and how strong he is a splitpushing, basically all the rest of the team was to keep TSM busy while zion got bigger and bigger and in the end they got a deserved win. Overall though TSM deserved to win the series, which they also did
Yeah, I love TSM but Zion's my favorite player since GGU days man. Honestly this play was made possible from the ziggs kha corki pickup. DIG had so much waveclear and poke that TSM just couldn't find the right engages and if you teamfight with a Nasus that farmed he'll just be such an annoyance to your backline. It was a ticking time bomb and TSM didn't have a great early or mid game lead so Nasus became a monster. GG WP hopefully Zion finds himself a better team now.
blackbelt807 They did. 10 minutes into the game Nasus only had 59 farm, and they mentioned somewhere him only having around 50 stacks as well, which is horrible, even in bronze. But then TSM pushed the game into late game instead of forcing a premature ending and the game wound up being 55 minutes long. Unless TSM was on Nasus ALL THAT TIME Nasus was bound to get fed, and he did, and wound up doing what a Nasus does best.
