They’re great problem solvers
There are videos with birds like that having a casual understanding of fluid displament in puzzles, those guys are scary smart.
Crows are the most intelligent out of all bird species.
He dont wanna crash land😄
Crows are very smart.
Yes they are. I started feeding the crows in my neighborhood twenty years ago. My neighbor started throwing rocks at the crows in my neighborhood around the same time. The crows rip apart his trash and shit all over his car, house, back yard, walkway, lawn furniture and him. they never once touched my trash, shit on my yard or house or stuff or me. They like shiny objects so I saved them little things and set them out for them, like buttons, pieces of foil, mall glass item etc. Interestingly they sometimes drop off little gifts usually on my front step or the picnic table in the back yard.
Actually most animals are. People just don't know about it. Whales, elephants, dolphins, pigs, etc. Extremely intelligent and spiritual.
Avalokitesavra yep.
Yes, they are.
I wondered if you noticed that before that crow flew with a spoon it was checking it's weight and was looking for a balance point.
Agree 100%, if humans disappear from the planet, crows will be in charge (along with cats). I once witness the most amazing thing - a crow convention. My house was next to a large park with a fence on top of a small hill, at the end of the hill was a sidewalk. Hundreds of crows came over and sat on the fence and the hill, same as you would do in bleachers. On the side walk there were two crows facing them all. The ones sitting were making noise until one in the bottom made a noise and they all kept quiet. Then the other began making noises while all the others in the hill and fence faced him. That went on for a while, then they all flew away at the same time. Also in that park, one of the crows had an injury, which made it impossible for it to fly. During at least 3 years, until I moved, the other crows would protect him if any animal or human would approached (the park had foxes and deer). They would also bring him food. Not just that I live in Minnesota, where winters can go to 25 degrees F BELOW zero, and somehow they also kept him alive in the ground.
I'm dying over the fact that he didn't feel uncomfortable to enter a room full of humans and steal their things right infront of their eyes. What an extroverted thief 😂😂
Crows are very smart and very grateful to a person that feeds them on a regular basis. I did that and they would drop things on my porch and give me things. It was there way of saying thank you. They have left me buttons, magic marker lids. Etc. That crow wanted to reward somebody for keeping them fed. Somebody didn't just feed them once. Somebody faithfully kept that bird fed. He only wanted to give something back to that person. It may not have meant a lot to some humans. But giving that plastic spoon to a human that never let that bird down. It meant a lot to that bird.
@Ally Woo Well, it's lovely until you *lost* a spoon.
Not giving crow-gang any flak, just sayin....
I had a bond with a wild squirrel I started feeding him when he was young and he would legit take food on my hand let me pet him I could pick him up he was like my little pet he stayed in a tree infrount of my house and almost any time I go out there he is I'm pretty sure someone hand raised him then let him go or I just started feeding him young enough where I got lucky but it's awesome anyone one else come by and he acts like a normal shy squirrel I show up and he's suddenly tame I'd love to hear what other people think about it
Crows just like shiny stuff…
Your post is good but the spoon is not plastic:)
@@kfc3930 That’s really awesome and sweet :) I have a bit of a bond with a wild squirrel too, she even had babies a year or two ago that she brought over when they were juveniles. Squirrels are so much smarter and cuter than people give them credit for!

Love how the crow makes sure to get the spoon's centre of gravity before taking off.
Humans: "Do you think he'll bring it back?"
Quoth the Raven: "Nevermore."
He is probably bringing it as a gift to some other friendly human. Crows remember kind humans, even for generations, and they give little presents to their benefactors. If they keep feeding the crow, he may ring their spoon back. But be careful, i thought he was going for her watch!

I saw a story how this girl would feed this group of crows on the way to school, they would wait for her & everything.. they actually started leaving her gifts - most of which were small, shiny, usually silver looking objects. Ironically after years at one point she actually got half of a heart charm that said best friends..
