Throughout the OT, we see God’s plan, promises, and purposes for all the diverse peoples of the world to be brought into his covenant family.
1) All the diverse people of the world are made in God’s image (Gen. 1-2; Deut. 32:8)
2) God’s covenant with Israel was for the world (Gen. 12, 17, Ex. 19, Deut. 4:5-6; 1 Kgs. 4:34; Ps. 22; 45; 67; 117; Is. 61)
3) God’s desire is for the world to be saturated with his glory (Num. 13-14; Ps. 108:5; Is. 6:3; Hab. 2:14)
