i'm really glad to see all the fish going in Dexter ! I hope that the farm really takes off and grows for you and teaches a lot of us Dexterians! Have you thought about using salt to see if osmotic shock is a thing for the nymphs ? I'm not sure if they are sensitive or not but it would be a lot cheaper than buying pesticides for them.

Try adding a water pump irrigation system that flows water endlessly in the pond so its fresh and clean so the koi grows much faster thats what my uncle does in their japanese koi farm

But in mud ponds in japan they don't use anything just feed them
No they use fresh spring water i worked at my uncles farm for a long time and visited more than 4 of his friends farms and i seen how they use spring water from the mountains and let them flow in the ponds koi fish wont live in mud ponds if you cant provide air flow they have a annual meeting there teaching new comers and ameature farmers amd workers on how to manage a koi farm and where to buy supplies
@@iycekold they dpnt just feed them those koi arent normal quality ones that you just leave in old water theyre show grade koi we maintain the waters clarity and monitor the growth by week l
And we dont just feed them thats a dumb answer from someone without experience though experience it before answering.

Just a suggestion sir dexter, maybe u can also grow azolla or duckweed in your pond it will be a nice content tutorial for us and tips as an alternative feed for our livestock animals.
He can't raise them with the Koi or the Goldfish since they'll eat them as fast as they grow. You can grow them really easy though in any shallow container pond etc. and use them to feed your fish and even your live stock . Another, well explained project sir Dexter, was wondering about the water availability, good luck with the frogs tho, they might be a problem. Easier to control the birds tho.
My wife's cousin near New York, was a live tropical fish and live coral importer and distributer in The USA.
The Philippines ( until it was banned!) was one of her sources for Marine fish.
It amazed me how long, properly packed and handled, this fish could survive the journey!

Maybe put some azolla,duckweed or kangkong in your pond, its a good investment as an alternative feed and fish might want some shades too?it might also help to filter the water.
He would need to grow it in another pond because the koi would eat it before it could grow
