I think that "make-up free Kacey"...or as you call her "Vampire Kacey" ...is the prettiest. The guys on the plane were probably looking all side-eyed at your Dad because the bag he was carrying had a hair brush and all of your Mom's hair care products in it. Manny F. P.S. You need to get some plastic frogs to put on your folk's pool "lily pads". Then they can just tell people that is was a home decorating decision.

When the power company took a tree down because it was growing into the lines (actually not us.) we had to keep dumping big bags of dirt in the hole where the stump was. It kept sinking and becoming a hole again. Somebody said plant something there the next time you fill it up and it will stop sinking. So I planted a pink rose bush. A few weeks later it caved again and buried the roses.
