Very cinematic as the action swings between what seems like a relatively easy turkey shoot at the beginning to a frantic retreat into the elevator for the final survivors
I have yet to get going, but I am planning a campaign of Stargrave using Necromunda as a template. So these batreps are very welcome, entertaining and helpful. Thanks!
Eeish, that was a tough one! Lovely looking scenery and minis. I'm about to start a campaign roughly based on the scenarios from Q37 but using Space Wierdos rules with my group - once again, excellent timing for inspiration from Mr Barker - thanks!
Excellent content again Ash, recently picked-up Q37 as well, so good to see it In action. I'm currently trying to combine Stargrave and A billion suns as a campaign for my gaming group,
What you call a "group activation" is just a normal captain activation. A group activation means you move all the figures first and then perform the second actions in turn. I actually only figured this out yesterday when re-reading the rules!
Ash, maybe you know this. Why hasnt This is Not a Test come out with an expansion that has rules for vehicle wars? Even small vehicles like bikes, ATVs, and such.
Zombie Terror pg 95 Quarantine 37. If a figure activates while in combat with this figure. It must immediately roll a Will check (TN10). A failure results in no actions during its activation. Robots auto pass the Will check. I am assuming this means base to base contact with a Zombie.
Amazing Battle Report! Can't wait for Episode 2! :) Two things I noticed: Isn't the Shotgun just +1 Damage and a critical hit role should do extra damage? Maybe I'm mistaking or the language barrier has gotten me! Anyway very enjoyable Video 🙂
That was great! I love that they shut the elevator door leaving one guy outside😂 About how many zombie minis do you think you need to run this campaign?
Hey ash awesome game stargrave is brutal lol btw where did u get the wound counters the ones I found on eBay are shite haven't seen them could really use them for wq
Played Stargrave a few times to just get through the rules and our group really liked it. Been focusing on This Is Not A Test the last few games, but I'd like to do a whole campaign for this. I used the Aristrocrat from Quarantine 37 to make a Ministorum Confessor (the captain) plowing through the galaxy in the Archangel with a retenue of Battle Sisters led by Sister Elizabeth Veneris Seraphima (the 1st mate) rooting out heretics and seeking glory in the name of the Emperor. My son has a gang of Orks and my fiance is using the Legrognards from Wargames Atlantic to play a WWI French-inspired Emperial Guard team led by a Rogue Trader and a mechanicus tech-priest (summons a servo skull as a drone). We've been gearing up by getting some mission-specific terrain. Lookin forward to this and Reign In Hell.
RogueGrave - StarTrader!
Love these Rogue Trader themed Stargrave games.

I did not expect a Sailor Moon reference but I can dig it… as the kids say
"you just got to deal with it." -Ash
Not enough people reference sailor moon
Stargrave and Ash Rocks!

Hey nice more star grave
I’m breaking out the old necromunda metal models I’ve managed to collect for my crew. Old 40l makes a great crew

I now have Astro Zombies by The Misfits looping through my head
"Troops we are leaving!"

Rico would never leave Dizzy! But at least she didn't die...this time...
“At least I got … to have you!”
(The rest of the crew whistles nervously and looks at the ground …)

Great game, what are the hit markers you are using?
Is that an open lock terrain set? I don't recognize it.
