I didn't even realize there were all these variants. I remember going to Toys R US when the utility belt buzz came out...my brother and I bought one a piece. I ended up swapping mine for a regular (blue cloud) because the utility belt buzz I had the stickers were peeling straight away. Crazy how the values have shot up for these guys.

Cloud pattern wave one has the yellow round logo on the box and says glows in the dark and cloud pattern wave 1 version 2 had the rocket shaped emblem but doesn't say glows in the dark, theres not much difference between the toys apart from paint shades in eyebrows and pinker cheeks on W1, they both do and have exactly the same features, l had a cloud logo wave 1 and sold it cheap because l had no ideal at the time it was super rare 😥

In my personal opinion I think the cloud logo and white logo toy story collection toys are the best ones to have. I feel bad that I missed out on the 1st 2009 & 2010 wave. But I try to keep in mind that the signature Collection toys have the same features. I have the white logo Woody and signature Collection Buzz from 2011 or 2012 release and the rest of my collection is either signature or Disney store
I personally like the Cloud logo the best but that is my preference. Also I dont think there is actually any differences between the 1st wave of cloud logo with the circular box design and the 2nd one that you have, I own both versions of the cloud logo Buzz and the only slight difference I saw was that the purple on the 1st cloud logo is a little bit darker. I know that I’m late, but basically just right now I identified my Buzz toy to be White logo variant. I really thought he was Signature version, but his face skin tone and the fact his chest is not that wide… What’s interesting I have a numeric code on his leg, just like signature version. He is in pretty good condition, however his head motor also doesn’t work and apparently he was bought back in 2010/2011, since he has a little bit of wear, especially on helmet. Guy sold me this one for about 40 dollars :D One of his stickers is slightly faded actually, not peeling off, just faded. That’s why I think he is probably pretty old, but works perfectly!

One thing I do know that’s different from the cloud logo with the yellow circle is that when you press the big red button on the front the flying sound effects play as you may have saw in John Lassiter’s showcase of the collection buzz.

I’m wondering if the backpack lighting is solo piece. If you take a backpack from one Buzz and place it into another body would it fit and work. Since I’m seeing Takara Tomy Buzz that has everything except wings lights
Buzz parts are not interchangeable they are all designed differently. So no TSC is not compatible with Takara Tomy. Different design and company. I’ve tried this with Buzz it doesn’t work.
What's wrong with it? A part on the outside is broken or the speaker quit? If the speaker quit just take him apart and put him back together, it worked for me. If you can take his legs off via the screws in his butt then take them off and you should be able to touch the bottom of the speaker from the opening on the bottom of his waist piece, press it carefully but enough to move it a bit. I have no idea why, but for my non Signature version of Buzz, after his speaker completely quit I tried the leg thing (his left side back screws are stripped to high hell, so that's why I even did this in the first place), pressed on the speaker a bit and he started talking again. It may be a pinched wire that comes free when you take him apart or mess with his body parts, that's my best theory anyway. I assume you have the regular cheaper version of the Signature Collection Buzz, so that's what I'm basing this off of. If you have say the remote controlled Buzz, or the original 95 one, or the Hasbro one, I'm afraid I don't know what they're like on the inside so I don't know what to do there. Best of luck.
@@Sonicfan1661 he is a really old buzz lightsyear that I got used. I had to take his face shield off because it was too scratched. Then his wings couldn't collapse so I had to take him apart to fix that, but then a wire broke. I fixed the wire and put everything back together. And then I dropped him and his leg broke off, so I used a bolt to put his leg back on, but now his leg is shorter, and super loose. And the during this whole thing all his stickers peeled off. So he is fully operational except for his leg, and the stickers are gone, and the paint is scratched.

I actually was looking into it and for some reason my Signature Collection Buzz doesn’t have a very tan/red face, but a more natural flesh tone. He’s about the same skin tone as my cloud pattern Woody, maybe just a little bit paler. His green looks much lighter than the cloud pattern release and strangely his wings are just as straight as the cloud pattern releases since they extend all the way and don’t bend. I found that there are two versions of the Signature collection buzz. The first one might be the one I have and the second one they re-released in 2019 for Toy Story 4 and the box says only at Target. I have noticed that the 2019 version of Buzz does have a different skin tone compared to the one I got. It also looks like the face sculpt is a little bit different too.
Yes you are right! I also own 2 different versions of signature collection Buzz, both buzz's head sculpts look different with their skin tones, eyes, and eyebrows. too.
You should pickup either the 20th anniversary buzz made with the digital data from the movie or the one that is just labeled talking buzz lightyear made with digital data by thinkway , it's the same as the signature but no lights on wings . Has super straight wings. no head motor , no wrist communicator .

I know that the best Woody and Buzz toys are from the TSSC, TSC, but sadly I can't afford those. Do you know of any cheaper Woodys and Buzzes that would be worthy substitutes? I've heard some reviewers rate the 20th anniversary Woody and the Disney Store Buzz and Woody pretty highly and was wondering what you thought. Keep up the awesome content!
I would say go for the "playtime woody" made by Thinkway toys (usually sold in Walmart stores) and Woody looks so great and functions like he should for such a great price if not Disney store is a great alternative as well but that is my second favorite apart form playtime Woody for the price and what you get. Buzz I recommend the Disney Store as he comes in a cool box and has Karate chop action and only retails for about $30

10:23 I have signature collection Buzz lightyear, and his wing is pretty straight. Difference between Cloud and Signature Buzz will be just buzz face skin tone. Signature collection Buzz face is to pink and red compare to other collection buzz.
I originally had the cloud based Buzz but i now have signature collection and I’m not 100% sure but the voice sounds a bit deeper on cloud based Buzz than on signature collection.
I think cloud with the more pale face represents the first and second movies and white logo represents the third movie and the signature’s brighter colors represent Toy Story 4 Buzz

I used to have a signature buzz in may 2017 after i worked so hard to saved up $64 to buy him at toys r us, but now i don't have him anymore because i lost him and i was a little bit disappointed and i was like "eh at least he's useless now, i'll get another one someday". I even thought he was a little bit more movie accurate than I imagined but because of his arms and his toes that wouldn't go all the way down it may not be movie accurate, at least he's worth it though.

One thing I noticed about the White Logo is that his feet aren't in the same position as the other two, so make all their stances identical and they'll most likely all be the same height. At least it seems that way to me. Correct me if I'm wrong. But the stances should be identical to be sure.
Prices change every year if depends on the season. I personally wouldn’t pay more than $350 for a buzz that is used and mint in box probably not more than $600 also depends what kind of TSC Buzz it is. There is no set price the toy market is always changing.

If it's an "exact film replica from digital data" why they keep changing? They need to make up they mind which one is accurate then? The only reason I think they changed is maybe because 2009 used toy story 2 models while white logo/sig. used toy story 3 models. But toy story 3 would have been well into production in 2008 so idk why they'd use old models.
Hi should the Cloud Logo Buzz have a moving head or is it meant to be static and you just turn it round manually with your fingers on that version? I bought one recently from Ebay his head isn't wobbly like the ones whose heads do move so I wondered if his head is static and was never built with a motor beneath?
Stores don’t sell collection or signature collection anymore. I think they might come back when and if Toy Story 5 comes out. They seem to only be in stores for the movie promotion then after a year or so they stop selling them. The best times to buy toy story toys was in 2009-2011 (for Toy Story 3 movie promotion) and then in 2019 (for Toy Story 4 movie promotion), outside that time it’s hard to find, only eBay. So they only sell them for fast profit during movie promotional times. I really think it’s just a business strategy to cash out after the hype of a movie release.

I would either go with cloud pattern as first choice and signature collection as second choice because even if signature face is too peachy. The jetpack proportions do look more movie accurate to me on signature than any other Buzz. I’m glad you enjoyed this video!

I assume you have the regular cheaper version of the Signature Collection Buzz, so that's what I'm basing this off of. If you have say the remote controlled Buzz, or the original 95 one, or the Hasbro one, I'm afraid I don't know what they're like on the inside so I don't know what to do there. Best of luck.
@@Sonicfan1661 he is a really old buzz lightsyear that I got used. I had to take his face shield off because it was too scratched. Then his wings couldn't collapse so I had to take him apart to fix that, but then a wire broke. I fixed the wire and put everything back together. And then I dropped him and his leg broke off, so I used a bolt to put his leg back on, but now his leg is shorter, and super loose. And the during this whole thing all his stickers peeled off. So he is fully operational except for his leg, and the stickers are gone, and the paint is scratched.

They are all good options. Collect what you feel is best for you. You can always resell Buzz they hold value.

Hi Partner, i saw that Cloud logo Buzz can rotate his arms 180 degree and also flight sound when press red circle buttons while apployed his wings. Cloud version Buzz lightyear has little bit more functions than Signature Buzz I guess😊😊😀

I actually was looking into it and for some reason my Signature Collection Buzz doesn’t have a very tan/red face, but a more natural flesh tone. He’s about the same skin tone as my cloud pattern Woody, maybe just a little bit paler. His green looks much lighter than the cloud pattern release and strangely his wings are just as straight as the cloud pattern releases since they extend all the way and don’t bend. I found that there are two versions of the Signature collection buzz. The first one might be the one I have and the second one they re-released in 2019 for Toy Story 4 and the box says only at Target. I have noticed that the 2019 version of Buzz does have a different skin tone compared to the one I got. It also looks like the face sculpt is a little bit different too.

Yes you are right! I also own 2 different versions of signature collection Buzz, both buzz's head sculpts look different with their skin tones, eyes, and eyebrows. too.
You should pickup either the 20th anniversary buzz made with the digital data from the movie or the one that is just labeled talking buzz lightyear made with digital data by thinkway , it's the same as the signature but no lights on wings . Has super straight wings. no head motor , no wrist communicator .
I reviewed and compared between these Buzz, the only differences are head sculpt, and the color of painting body. Features are same.
The Jetpack is higher on signature and lower on cloud the body proportions also changed with white logo but it’s all slight.

I would say go for the "playtime woody" made by Thinkway toys (usually sold in Walmart stores) and Woody looks so great and functions like he should for such a great price if not Disney store is a great alternative as well but that is my second favorite apart form playtime Woody for the price and what you get. Buzz I recommend the Disney Store as he comes in a cool box and has Karate chop action and only retails for about $30

I used to have a signature buzz in may 2017 after i worked so hard to saved up $64 to buy him at toys r us, but now i don't have him anymore because i lost him and i was a little bit disappointed and i was like "eh at least he's useless now, i'll get another one someday". I even thought he was a little bit more movie accurate than I imagined but because of his arms and his toes that wouldn't go all the way down it may not be movie accurate, at least he's worth it though.

One thing I noticed about the White Logo is that his feet aren't in the same position as the other two, so make all their stances identical and they'll most likely all be the same height. At least it seems that way to me. Correct me if I'm wrong. But the stances should be identical to be sure.
They all have very slight differences but you can see for yourself how some things are off and different than the rest.
I wish you could have also compared their electronics since there are some interesting differences.

Prices change every year if depends on the season. I personally wouldn’t pay more than $350 for a buzz that is used and mint in box probably not more than $600 also depends what kind of TSC Buzz it is. There is no set price the toy market is always changing.

If it's an "exact film replica from digital data" why they keep changing? They need to make up they mind which one is accurate then? The only reason I think they changed is maybe because 2009 used toy story 2 models while white logo/sig. used toy story 3 models. But toy story 3 would have been well into production in 2008 so idk why they'd use old models.

I bought one recently from Ebay his head isn't wobbly like the ones whose heads do move so I wondered if his head is static and was never built with a motor beneath?

Stores don’t sell collection or signature collection anymore. I think they might come back when and if Toy Story 5 comes out. They seem to only be in stores for the movie promotion then after a year or so they stop selling them. The best times to buy toy story toys was in 2009-2011 (for Toy Story 3 movie promotion) and then in 2019 (for Toy Story 4 movie promotion), outside that time it’s hard to find, only eBay. So they only sell them for fast profit during movie promotional times. I really think it’s just a business strategy to cash out after the hype of a movie release.

I would either go with cloud pattern as first choice and signature collection as second choice because even if signature face is too peachy. The jetpack proportions do look more movie accurate to me on signature than any other Buzz. I’m glad you enjoyed this video!
