- ET looks back at Lisa Marie Presley's tour of Graceland's exhibit focused on her childhood at the Tennessee landmark. In this 2012 interview, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla shared her favorite memories about growing up at the estate. Lisa Marie also provided rare insight about notable memorabilia from her time as one of the most famous children in rock and roll.

She lost that light in her eyes after her beloved son died. So so sad. What a beautiful person she was.
@@malka2u my point is that this was taken before her son’s death. 8 years before in fact. And she looks happy and healthy. She lost that spark after her son took his life. I don’t think you can blame drugs when you don’t know the circumstances. The woman was a grieving mother with huge trauma throughout her life. A bit of compassion for the deceased would be graceful.
@@malka2u she's "definitely" on pills?! How do you know this? Please show us the evidence. She doesn't act intoxicated in this interview, she articulated fine and her cognitive functioning seemed in tact. Making accusations that she's on pills (and "usually was") when you don't know that for a fact, just feeds the negative stigma that people with addiction are already facing. She was a human being who struggled with addiction, it didn't define her, it was just something she had. It doesn't mean she was always under the influence. It's possible she may have relapsed after her son's death but nothing is certain, at least not yet.

Lisa Marie Presley died of a broken heart. She struggled getting over her son's suicide death. Plus was crushed after her father died. Her three daughters will carry on her legacy. REST in peace Lisa Marie Presley.

Absolutely I saw that in her 💯 I sense a lot of deep pain in her voice eyes face and personality. Sense she was suffering in silence...hence used drugs to cope... RIP...LMP 💔😩❤️🌹

Lisa Marie make those remarks at the celebration for her father's 88th birthday on the 8th of Jan. Actually she said " you are the only people who can bring me out of my house. " she meant the fans
Very sad, she looked young and healthy here. Things can really change only 10 years later.

You can see that she has a heavy heart talking about her childhood. Mom and Dad divorce when she is four years old, then 5 years later Dad dies. Most people do not understand how traumatic that is. Throughout her adult life she uses drugs to cope, making the same mistake as her father. All the husbands she had no one could help her, such a sad life.
Priscilla has said that Lisa told her she thought her parents were still together and didn't notice the divorce. Probably because very little changed in regards to her dad being out touring and the time she spent with him. Priscilla said it was a great relief for her to hear that.
Elvis didn’t use drugs. It was prescribe medicine for his pain that was prob led from his head injury a few years before he died.

I am still in shock of Lisa Marie passing away. Elvis had a very good heart and cared about others. He gave away 13 Cadillac. No telling how much he gave to others. RIP Lisa Marie Presley.

She had had an incredibly well protected childhood. Everything in security. Nothing went wrong for her.
I have just experienced the opposite. I was put into the baby home by my mother when I was still an infant. I came in various children's homes and private foster homes. Every time I went somewhere else, I automatically lost my full possession. Then at the age of 16 I had no possessions, nothing at all. Except my clothes. I had no money, no parents and no one to support me. I had to fight hard to survive.

Everything was remembered. That is incredible. I was in so many children's homes and foster homes and I don't remember exactly what toys I still had, nor do I have any toys of mine now. I didn't have a mother to take care of me and I didn't have a father. I had to struggle through and had to endure a lot of abuse.

I've been poor all my life. I don't have any toys left from when I was a baby, but I did save little things from my childhood. It was important to me.. my parents didn't save them for me.....I did. We moved so much because my parents couldn't get along they were forever breaking up and getting back together. Then my dad passed away in 1979. I was only 10 yrs. old. Then my world was turned upside down for sure. The one thing I can say is thank the Lord I had wonder grandparent's that loved me. If it hadn't of been for them....I don't know what I would have done. I'm proud for people that are blessed. It's not right to envy other people that have been blessed. If I could change it I would make sure all children had a great life. Wouldn't you? I'm not rich, but I can pray for them and I do. I love my children and my grandchildren. I saved several things from my children's childhood. I'm very sentimental. I even saved thier baby bed, toys, baby clothes, especially things that they made when they were in school. I worked very hard to make sure my children had a better life than I did, because I love my children. That's all we can do is try to make our lives better and keep praying and keep your faith in Jesus. We are going to suffer one way or another. Lisa Marie had to suffer too. Maybe not like you or I did, but she's been thru a lot of hard things in life too. That's life. But when we get to Heaven.... there will be no more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain and suffering, and no more death. We are all just passing thru this world. Hopefully, we will live in Heaven for an eternity. I know I will be there I pray you will be too. God bless you. 🙏❤
She was so many folks last direct contact to Elvis. She was grounded so well. May God rest her eternal soul.

Lisa Marie had alot of her baby and childhood memories, but I think she was still very sad and lonely because she lost her Daddy when she was 9 years old. That's a very vulnerable age, because she was old enough to know that He did pass away, but she didn't understand why then. I love you so much Lisa Marie same age as me l grew up with you l use to try and dress like you l always admired you. I’m totally devastated that you have gone l have cried tears and l don’t cry over celebrities dying but you are so different your amazing humble and graceful and a wonderful mother. I feel like l know you even though l live in Australia and have never met you. My heart goes out to your mother Pricilla and daughters. Honestly going to Graceland in 2021 was one of the best trips I’ve had in awhile. Memphis has a lot of cool things to see. Beal street is not bustling anymore but it was still fun to site see.

Miałaby cudowne dzieciństwo, gdyby nie jej toksyczna matka. Princila była zazdrosna o Lise, gdyż Jej ojciec przelał całą swoją miłość na córkę. Ona wspomina to czule, ale matka do dziś opowiada głupoty, jaka to nie była szczęśliwa z Elvisem. Trochę czytałam na ich temat i wiem, że Lisa nie miała cudownego dzieciństwa.

Lisa Marie loved the exhibit that Graceland did for her. Her favorite thing was the golf cart that Elvis gifted her in 1976. I miss Lisa but she is at rest with her Dad and her Son now. Rest in peace beautiful Lisa
