I have a sterling silver Graf classic with a broad nib that is about 20 years old and I love it. The ebony barrel has been very durable. The silver gets a nice patina but can be easily cleaned. Very satisfying!

What great choice of pens to compare. I have both and I love them. My favorite is leaning a little towards Graf von Castell in terms of how it writes. I love holding leman a lot.

GFvC nibs have a VERY good flex compared to the most modern nibs. Caran d'ache is a nail in comparison

I have the Leman with a fine nib which is superb. Just a small point, the silver parts are rhodium coated not platinum.

Rhodium is a member of the Platinum family smartass, Platinum is not a part of the Rhodium family! Rhodium is found inside Platinum.
I would be afraid that some ink gets spilled on the wood of the GvFC and is ruins the look. Is that not an issue?
Yes it is and it leaves stains 🤮 Caran d'Ache is best 👌
Stains can also be called Patina. That is what a Wood Pen brings on the table. The fact that it gets older, gets darker, maybe has stains, and so on. I find that a very romantic thing.
Also, das Problem bei deiner Darstellung von beiden Füllern: Wenn Du die Konvertern gefüllt hast, und damit eine oder zwei Seiten geschrieben hast, erst dann merkst Du richtig, wie sich der Füller verhält, und wie viel Tinte WIRKLICH runterfliesst, und wie nass oder trocken sie wirklich schreiben.
Ich besitze einen Graf Von Faber-Castell Classic platiniert, er schreibt sehr schön, ich musste ihn aber erstmal zurücksenden, weil der Tintenfluss einfach nicht richtig eingestellt war, sie haben wir dann die gesamte Einheit getauscht, und jetzt läuft er super!

In realtà la caran d'Ache costa di più 😂! Purtroppo il converter ha una autonomia troppo limitata ed è molto scomodo da caricare!! Purtroppo per motivi di vendita hanno scelto di risparmiare ed evitare il costo di uno stantuffo.😢 La impugnatura della Faber Castell è abbastanza scomoda!!

You should be prosecuted for messing about with pens you intend to sell as new, in the UK 🇬🇧 that is illegal and you would be prosecuted!
I have the Klein Blue, Scarlet Red, Matt Black, Alpine Blue and Bordeaux Red in both Fountain and Ballpoint Pens and I know they come in vacuum sealed thick plastic bags SO I WOULD KNOW IF YOU TRIED SELLING ME USED PENS 👎

Selling used pens as new in the 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 is illegal, you should of kept that information to yourself, but then if you tried selling me used Caran d'Ache I would know because they seal their pens, well the high end ones, I don't know about the cheap ones because I don't buy any under £300.
I NEVER USE THEM, THEY NEVER COME OUT OF THE SEALED PACKET, I USE COTTON GLOVES TO HANDLE THEM IN THE PACKETS BECAUSE I'M A PUREST AND BESIDES BEING EXTREMELY DISABLED I HAVE OCD WHEN IT COMES TO MY COLLECTIONS WHICH ARE DISPLAYED IN HANDMADE ITALIAN REAL CHERRY WOOD CABINETS, SO WHEN YOU TELL US YOU SELL USED PENS AS NEW, THAT DRIVES AN OCD COLLECTOR UP THE WALL, SO YOU SHOULD KEEP THAT INFORMATION QUITE.
