If you want to beat this boss but don't want to summon use any overpowered builds or any methods such as shields which avoids you having to learn his move sets this is what you need to do: Took me about 4 hours worth of attempts to kill this boss, and honestly made this boss into the best in the series you just need these things: -60 vit -heavy armour such as radahn's armour talismans -golden braid (most important gives 20% damage reduction for holy attacks) -dragon crest +2 -crimson seed +1 (second most important, increases flask healing by 30%) -ritual shield talisam. wondrous physick -opalline hard tear, (Give damage reduction for 3 mins, very important) -crimsonspill tear With these in place and have enough damage reduction , health and healing that one small mistake on the second phase is not going to end up getting you killed so you will stay alive long enough to actually learn his movesett. initally play defensive focus on staying alive rather then damage, if you are alive you are learning his movement. For example I would heal even at 80% health when learning if I had a safe heal window so that I would be less likely to die from a single mistake. Following this the boss was only frustrating for about an hour when first learning his second phase.

He was flexing on me, after I saw your video and applied it, I literally shit all over him fight didn't even last a minute, thanks for the awesome build ☺☺
I love how they removed the flashing intro, just to make me blind in that final fight. Thanks to you, the double turtle and the braid, I was finally able to stonewall-poke him. I can finally see again.
After going to get the blood helice, upgraded to +9 and nowhere near the same amount of bleed buildup, I still managed to pull out the win on my 4th attempt after watching this video. Still took all 14 of my healing flasks and was probably one combo away from death, but I got it. Thank you for the awesome guide!
Great guide, the poke-from-behind-shield approach made the fight mich easier (used an Antspur Rapier for rapid rot proc). I would add a few incantations, such as Golden vow, Immutable Shield, and for phase 2 Divine Fortification. Physick with Crimsonburst and Crimson-sapping tears for phase 2 as well, as you will be losing health to the holy damage (steadily poking from behind the shield regenerates health). Pretty much trivializes the fight, assuming you can manage the stamina. Another viable approach is casting Scarlet Aeonia, but you need an extemely long window of opportunity, or just assume that you will lose 90% of your health in the process, especially in 1st phase (2nd starts with the AoE which leaves you enough time to cast and hide behind the shield). Can't wait for insane people to do hitless runs of this guy. I'd rather do Malenia SL1.
bro, i tried for hours with blood katana, always becoming wet wipes for radahn's second phase. That this works so smoothly and has a learning curve a toddler could excel at, that's bullshit xD thanks for the build xD
This strat worked for me thanks. I ended up summoning the mimic tear (no NPC phantoms) which did a lot of the damage while I turtled. He didn't make it to the end but the wall strat definitely helps.
Using a shield is definitely the way to go, but only for the second phase, however using a short range melee weapon is very laborious. I found spamming cometshard sorcery is great as an int. build, but there are many ranged options for other builds. The cast time for cometshard is quick, as is the DPS, just make sure you have int. 80 and are using a fully upgraded staff, ideally carian regal scepter or crystal staff. Another thing I'm surprised you didn't mention is the spirit ash... popping that right before his second phase gives him something to be distracted by for just long enough to kill him (sometimes). Honestly it's such a cancer boss fight that a lot of it comes down to RNG, but this method worked for me, and even though I died a lot, I was able to consistently get him down below 20% health with this method. Cometshard + shield + spirit ash just before he reached 60% health, and always keep your distance. I even used the blood hound leap ash of war on an offhand weapon to avoid the meteor attacks, but it's not essential. Hope this helps.

If you want to beat this boss but don't want to summon use any overpowered builds or any methods such as shields which avoids you having to learn his move sets this is what you need to do:
Took me about 4 hours worth of attempts to kill this boss, and honestly made this boss into the best in the series you just need these things:
-60 vit
-heavy armour such as radahn's armour
talismans
-golden braid (most important gives 20% damage reduction for holy attacks)
-dragon crest +2
-crimson seed +1 (second most important, increases flask healing by 30%)
-ritual shield talisam.
wondrous physick
-opalline hard tear, (Give damage reduction for 3 mins, very important)
-crimsonspill tear
With these in place and have enough damage reduction , health and healing that one small mistake on the second phase is not going to end up getting you killed so you will stay alive long enough to actually learn his movesett. initally play defensive focus on staying alive rather then damage, if you are alive you are learning his movement. For example I would heal even at 80% health when learning if I had a safe heal window so that I would be less likely to die from a single mistake.

Beat him using this build and strategy in a few tries. Thank you for the guide bro!
thank you for this my dude
I've played the whole main game and DLC with an INT build without much trouble but that last phase was absolute bullshit with no time to even use magic or anything, spent 3h before I decided I had to change everything and it was done in 3 try hehe
it's funny because I haven't use a shield in a soulsgame since the first time I've played dark souls 1 almost 12 years ago, kind of the end of a cycle here haha
thank you so much bro i couldnt get him past half hp with any of my builds but i beat him on my second attempt with this build, personally i liked using the antspur rapier with bleed
Nice work!
Phase 1 is great and really well made and phase 2 is just nukes
I can't believe it!!!! HUUUGE thanks, man! I've just given up all hope. I really have tried everything so far, but your video and thoughts overall have finally helped me beat this MF. :D I've beaten everything with sweat and tears, but even when I came somewhat close to killing him seemed accidental. I can finally go to sleep in peace. :D
He was flexing on me, after I saw your video and applied it, I literally shit all over him fight didn't even last a minute, thanks for the awesome build ☺☺
This worked perfectly, surprisingly easy close to the wall! Thanks man🤝

This boss destroyed my nerves, this is the first time I seek help from youtube lol
Gonna try your method tomorrow
Took me only one try with this build. Thanks man.
No problem 👍
Thank you so much ! You saved my game
This is so useful. Been getting killed by Miquella in the second phase. Going to find that scudatree avatar and come back to fight again.
Thank you so much good sir. Also, this may be of assistance

You got hit with that Elden Rizz
Great guide. Using this build i have beaten radahn second time, after hours of trying. Try it guys, it really works
Nice work!
Thank you so much for this - I used a lot of your strategy to beat him. The Miquella rune tip alone saved me hours of time!
I love how they removed the flashing intro, just to make me blind in that final fight.
Thanks to you, the double turtle and the braid, I was finally able to stonewall-poke him. I can finally see again.
With your guide, even I could beat him. I needed to respec and get the Fingerprint Shield, but after that, I got him in 4-5 tries 😊.
Tried every cheesy build you can find on youtube and none of them worked as reliably as this right here. Thank you for putting this together!
Glad I could help
Here's another recipe guys Great Hammer (your choice) + Prayerful Strike + 1 to 2 fp flask = Victory by brute force! You got this
Ty soo much I finally got him. Was misusing Miquellas great rune.
This worked great! Thank you so much for the guide!!!!
Glad it helped!
Tried it and it worked as soon as i managed to position against the comet thingie he does at like 20%, thanks!
bro, i tried for hours with blood katana, always becoming wet wipes for radahn's second phase. That this works so smoothly and has a learning curve a toddler could excel at, that's bullshit xD thanks for the build xD
@@Valnar1111 my abaolute pleasure 👍
This build is what finally go me through Radahn, I was feeling super hopeless until I found this vid. Didn't even feel good to beat him, but its done.
Hi, I watch your guides because of your funny and unique accent, thanks for the guide
Thank you so much 😄👍
That wall strategy was what I needed against that holy AoE attack. Thanks man!!!
I tried like 5 builds and probably 50 attempts and then teied your build and bear him forst shot. Thank you!!!
Great strategy. Fingerprint shield and poke bleed/rot. As always, great video
There's an upgraded Version of that Turtle Talisman in the DLC
Oh... Eeeeeeexcellent Smithers
@@Elbethium it's a must for melee builds :D

Man, thx alot. This was perfect advise. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
Used this strategy but with a different great shield, and only used the mimic in phase 2. Took 5 tries but i got him. Thanks so much bro.
