Hello Sir, thank you so much maintenace video. by the way I have a 2012 RMZ250, that engine has two drain bolts under the Engine. so usually I take out these bolts and don' t take out the side bolt. way are you not take out the bottom drain bolt at the front side? from Japan

typical everyone overlooks the oil strainer with the magnet in it.. it also realises alot more oil.. plus it will have many shards of metal that need removing and cleaning to perfection every oil change.
The bolt that he took out at 1.13 in the video does anyone know what that bolt is called? Can’t find it anywhere the bolt that I had I took it out and lost it.
I have a 2008 rmz 250, i just got it. is their a transmition oil and engine oil? or is it all shared. the fill Is on the clutch cover that I know. let me know thank you:)

every other ride or race ~ some change it after every race but we never had any problem's with break downs we had three bikes running and all went good Thanks Man
+Paul Bordelon so when you start the bike the oil flow dose not stop to the rest of the engine while it fills up the filter iv always done that for my trucks too my ford filter almost holds one quart or oil by itself
guys you have to clean your mess up!! dont let the oil sit on the engine and shit and especially CLEAN THE OIL WHERE THE OIL FILTER WAS! this guy did not do any of this! this is a bad tutorial!
we have been racing 3 bikes and 3 racers for ten years it seems to have worked for us no break downs other then a top end on our two strokes going out years back

what specific oil was used in this video i couldn't quite tell
i don't get it you drain 2 reservoirs but only fill up 1 with new oil or am i wrong please explain. is this for the gears and engine oil ?
Suzuki share the same oil on both sides so yes one fill hole but on my crf450r I have two fill holes & caps
thanks i was confused cuz on all my other bikes i had to get different oil for the gears

What oil did you use
what if you overfill your oil and its at the top of the sight glass? how can youbdrain a little to make it at acceptable level?
just loosen the oil plug alittle so some oil seeps out slowly and recheck oil level
was hoping there was a less messy way of achieving that haha :)

There is so “sight glass” on an RMZ250.

My 2014 RM Z250 has 2 different oil strainers that have to be cleaned every oil change.
Do they really have to be? My bottom filter bolt is stripped...ugh
