From a milk bottle... to cousin it. Still following. I'm going to have to get a chunk of wood out and go thru this again this evening. Great progression, I'm getting it all, and I often don't understand step by step carving videos.
Hello Sharon, I started watching your step by step carving of the little character and realised you were helping me to understand another carver Jack Price who also has a step by step carving tutorial, the main difference being that his is in a book where yours is in video. But the two examples when put together and yours in particular being in video I found most helpful. So now I can follow you and study the book at the same time. Great videos with very constructive step by step instructions, Thank you very much. From lockdown England Oxfordshire, regards Bob...

Hello, and thank you for your videos. I wonder, could tell me where I could get a knife like you are using? I like it a lot but have not seen another like it.
always wanted to do this...can anyone tell me what is the best wood to use is New Zealand? I have tried kauri, fijian kauri, totara (admittedly it was probably too old), and pine. I'm finding all these too hard and grainy. My first one made it all the way to the face when he lost his nose, but the cuts are not clean due to the grain. Anyone got any suggestions?

Nice 10/10 rating

Sharon, are you using basswood, & where do you get it? By the way, I love your videos, they are so easy to follow.
Sounds only on one side? If you switch it to mono it would fix the problem.
Buddy I was just trying to be helpful. No need to bash me for pointing something out.
what kind of knife are you using? i love your tutorials!

Maybe I missed it but it's that pine?
You make it look so easy. I gave up. I don't know whether I'm chicken or just plain dumb. Holding the knife feels so uncomfortable.
