Can you talk about de-weeding in organic farming? Is it always done manually? Or you use machine? And do you use natural mulching to prevent weeds? Thanks for the content
No. It's not always done manually. You can use machines. We also mulch to avoid weeds. Please watch our video regarding weed management in orchard. It's there in the playlist. Thanks
I have also recently started organic farm and weed management is one of the biggest hassle. Most of it is de-weeded manually.
I try to use whatever mulching I have available like dry grass, woodchips, cardboard, dry leaves and old vegetable plants which have to be uprooted. Personally i found cardboard to be a better, cheap and long lasting solution as it takes around 2yrs to decompose so no weed grows there for that duration but remember to take out all the plastic, tape and pins from cardboard before using it
@@mohitdhanwani6431 according to shri subhash palekar ,for mulching woodchips, cardboard or similar materials block air circulation to the soil.better use dry sugarcane leaves,dry leaves or uprooted vegetables.
@@rishigooroochurn6058 While I agree cardboard can block air circulation but not woodchips. I use cardboard only in walkways as it is available easily, woodchips not so much and no weeds grow there for atleast a year.
My favourite mulch is bhusa but it decomposes very fast and I have to use it every month for atleast 2 months till plants are big enough to supress weeds themselves

Sir Palekar ji ka jo 36x36 bagwani model hai uska bed banane ka tarika, nali nikalne ka tarika, beej bone ka tarika aur sabse jaruri irrigation ka tarika aur kitna pani dena hai, weekly kitne baar dena hai saath hi jiwamrit tatha kitrodhak ka istemaal kaise karna hai. Practical dikhaye to hum jaise jinko farming ka kuch nahi aata jo abhi start karna chate hai bahoot madad milegi. aasa hai 36x36 ki puri prakiriya aap video ke rup me daalenge taki hum kam se kam galti kar sake.

I have a doubt, your soil looks like black. Is it clay in nature ? I mean black cotton ? Because black soils clay in nature are not suitable for certain plants like lemon and Sithaphal also grows slow..
It's not black cotton soil. it's brown in colour with little stones all over the place.
