In my schools small band, there is no trombones and only one tenor sax player. But me, the only mellophone at our school, was given the melody part at measure 24 so the tenor sax guy wasn't alone.
This might be a stretch considering that you posted this comment 2 years ago, but would you happen to know some of the notes for it? As I'm also my schools only Mellophone player and I would like to see what you have measure 24.
Not really. Because its the same fingering as trumpet, its transposed to read like a trumpet if you are in treble most of the time. Also in high level bands, there could be a euphonium in treble playing different then the ones on bass
I love the re-composition, and I love how he put lots of triplets in there, those are always fun especially while accented on upbeats. It is definitely better than Tim Waters' composition, but just by a hair.
